Goblin Gird
Some strange cave /// Morning I guess // Day 1 to Day 3 Day One - Darkness everlasting. It was always darkness but it wasn’t cold, just a void. It almost seemed like an eternity until something finally pierced the void. A voice that sounded old and worn out beckoning calling out to him. Then suddenly a burning white light filled the expanse of the void as he opened heavy eyelids. The sudden rush of feeling and light made him flinch while he adjusted to this new world. Once he was able to see and comprehend the world around him the first thing he did was look at himself. The word goblin came to his mind almost instinctual, the same green skin that covered his small frame also covered the lumps of green that surrounded him to, his brothers and sisters. Something about even this simple action made him exhausted and found himself falling back asleep. ---------------------------------------- Day Three – Again he woke, slightly confused as to how long he had been asleep but he had grew in his sleep. This time he was the size of a child. For a moment he was stunned at the rate he had grown, was he really out for that long. The sight of the older goblin that seemed to smile at them so proudly seemed to know what was going on. He could understand what he had said earlier and tried it out himself, “w-what am I-I called?” only slight trouble getting the words right and really the only thing he could think of at the time that mattered, “what am I called?” he thought. Repeating the question in his mind. The slight movement of air past him brought the smell of the forest as he suddenly realized how big the cave was. The small rough blanket seemed to be enough to fashion a simple loin cloth. His yellow eyes glanced around his surroundings and at the others. They were his brothers and sisters now. His people, his tribe. They would need to be protected if they were to survive. But how could he protect anyone let alone himself in this weak state. Stronger, he would have to grow stronger.
