The rodent happily takes the glass of water and places a digit in the water. The water is absorbed rather quickly into the aqueous form. With its free hand it begins to jot down a message onto the piece of paper left behind by the woman. The rodent hands over the piece of paper that read:

"Just before I was transported here, I was returning home from a failed job-hunt. I was wondering if this tavern offered any jobs that I could do. I was an adventurer of sorts and performed quests and some odd-jobs but after being transformed into this, they were quick to brand me a monster and bar me from doing business with any of them."
