Avaline & Maoin

At the mention of food, Avaline immediately turned to Maoin.

[b]"A-ah! Really? Big? How big? A whole boarman big?"[/b] Her eyes sparkled at Maoin, obviously eager to eat as her tail wagged back and forth. [b]"Yes yes! I shall not leave the little kitten's side! Lead the way, small black furry mammal!"[/b] She followed Maoin towards the door, clasping her hands together and watching Maoin with big eyes.

Khira & Miren

Khira, was irritated.

[b]"This room is too small. Cramped."[/b] The Chimera growled irritably, snake tail flicking back and forth as her claws gripped her own forearms. [b]"...rabbit, what do you normally do to pass time? There is nothing to hunt here. Humans are poor prey."[/b]

[color=6ecff6]"E-erm, pardon?"[/color] Miren had gotten up early to fix breakfast, and Khira followed her out. She was probably used to waking up early to go hunting. "Pass the time?" The rabbit turned off the stove, hopping over to the table with a heavy looking pot full of steamed vegetables and beef. A simple stew. Ever since the carnivores moved in, her food expenses had gone up a bit. [color=6ecff6]"W-well, I usually...read or write, when I don't have customers in the store."[/color]

[b]"...Hmph. Expected."[/b] She grunted. She thought about possibly visiting the other woman that was with them last time. Katherine, was her name right? She could at least pass the time there.[b] "...grrah. Apologies for being irritable. This place is simply taking some getting used too."[/b]

[color=6ecff6]"O-oh, it's alright, Khira."[/color] Miren replied, grabbing a few fresh apples and a slightly burned steak off of the stove. [color=6ecff6]"Coming here from the forest must have been a big change for you."[/color] She plopped the steak down on a plate where Eith usually sat.

[b]"Mhm. Never before."[/b]

[b]"That is quite enough..."[/b]

[color=black]"Why, sister! WHY!?!"[/color]

[color=black]"REST? YOU WANT ME TO REST?! Sister I will rest when-"[/color] There was the sound of an animal whine, the sound of something clamping shut, clanging of metal against metal as something was pulling heavily against it.

[color=82ca9d]"She's a feisty one, isn't she? Even after we did that to her...Oh don't give me that look, fox. You agreed to this - it was the only way we could keep her here. Unless you want me to tell Lord Inari about what the both of you did, hmm?"[/color]

[b]"...no, it's fine."[/b]

[color=82ca9d]"Good. You work for me, then. Otherwise, your precious little sister might just...well, you saw what happened to the others."[/color]

The fox rolled over and fell on top of Sel's face.

[color=black]"Gah!"[/color] She bolted straight up, paws pressing against the humans eyes as she shook her head. Ouch, that particular one was always annoying. Tsk, talking about her like she wasn't there. Pathetic. If they hadn't muzzled and shackled her she'd have eaten the both of them. Well, whatever. The fox hopped off of Sel, realizing she had slept far past the time she should have. Sel was likely awake by now after that, but oh well.
