Running out of options, she knew what she was about to do would most likely not work. But she hoped that Arceus would take pity on her and just give her this one, not in all the years she lived did she ever truly pray to the Pokemon deity. But now she wished for it's help as the great ball left her hand and made it's way towards the raging pokemon.
Liz's Great Ball was one desperate act indeed. Duskull hadn't been weekend at all yet, if anything he was more fired up now that at the begging of the battle. How could this trainer not get it? How could she ruin his favorite thing in the world: dusk. The time of day which his species is named after. The blue light from the Great Ball snapped him up, but the ball broke back open the moment it hit the ground below. Above the used up Great Ball, Duskull floated. The light inside him shined with a deep hateful red. Then suddenly it changed. A strange calm washed over him, turning the light a pale pink. The sun was gone. The moment was ruined. There was nothing left to fight for. He had returned to his normal lax self. He turned his back to Liz to gaze out upon the sea. As he did this, his body faded away. Liz was left alone, and defeated.
