[@Rabidporcupine]  I mean, keep in mind the adventures 20 years ago were perfectly PG.  There wouldn't really be 'PTSD' inducing stuff for the guy.  I wouldn't mind a character having a brother as an NPCesque thing but I think your main character should certainly be the girl.
