“With the country finally starting to form, I believe one of our first actions must be to recognize those who fought for this country. As such I propose the National War Monument Bill, this bill would allow us to recognize those who died in the war and be forever remembered by name and what we lost so that this democracy could live.” Representative Abe Hamdot of the Samgolan Dawn party said to his fellow members at the national Assembly.

This proposal will create a national monument for the soldiers of the Samgolan army who died during the civil war. The inital cost of the monument is $31,000,000 with an additional $4,500,000 to maintain the monument each year.

Article 1. A national monument is any place controlled,funded and operated by the government and open to citizenry of the state.
Article 2. Create a national monument in Kamidye for the soldiers of the Samgolan army who died during the war. Their names would be scrawled across the large monument, inscribed with their Date of Birth and Date of Death.
Article 3. The national monument will become a national park run,ruled and regulated by the state. Furthermore, An open area unused within the capital limits will be used as the base for the monument.
Article 4. This bill will increase the corporate Tax to 25% for additional funding for the national monument. Additional funding should come from canceling foreign aid to Nigeria as well as to stop providing housing to the UN peacekeeping force as their job is done. After it’s creation it would be protected and maintained by the Department of Security.
Article 5. Should the bill be passed and the aforementioned actions not be taken, the cabinet should resign a new cabinet formed.
Article 6. The bill will go into effect immediately after it is passed and given 30 days for the cabinet to allocate funding and begin arrangements for the bill.

Meanwhile after the National Assembly meeting, Zan Mahol met with 2 members of his party to discuss their issues. Both former soldiers under Zan who respected him and saw him as their leader “I’ve asked you both here today, because I’ve recently been informed you’ve spoken about cutting government spending and overall power. This can’t stand, if we are to become a strong,stable and powerful organization we must focus on nationalizing and if needed spending money. Thus we must look for the future do you understand what I am saying?” The two men looked at each other then at their leader they stood up saluted and said yes. Zan smiled and sent them on their way.
