Taurl took the catch back to his hut. He set down his spear and picked up a stone dagger he had left on the dirt floor, and used it to behead the rabbit. The head would have to be taken to the village's temple, where the shaman would accept the offering and mount the skull on a stake outside of the temple. 

On the way over, he ran into Bok and Tovo. 

"Oh, hey there. Are you two going to bring an offering to the gods? I brought down a rabbit."
