"and yes, we were about to go deeper in the village to tell the chief of this bountiful haul but Bok wanted to kill the wolf with his club. I did not want the wolf's skull to be damaged before we could offer it so I had to stop his attempt."

He then turns to look towards Bok rather apologetically. "Bok, I am sorry for stopping you but I promise that you can kill the wolf after we show it to the chief and the shaman. I only ask you to not use your club to do it."
