[@Rabidporcupine] Alright just a couple things.

Firstly, your brother AND your character going to the police force?  There are other jobs in the world aside from crime-related work, and I think having 1 major NPC (your brother) and 3 PCs and several other NPCs be involved in that area is a bit much.  Perhaps your character is fine with continuing their bend of fighting justice, but has an unrelated job?

Also, I doubt Connor, a mere mortal, would ever really ever be able to stand up in a swordfight with your character, unless your character specifically isn't using their powers to enhance their endurance/movement/ect. along with not using the petals.  Truthfully, why would he bother learning how to use a sword than use a gun?

Otherwise, assuming you discussed the relationships with the others everything else is fine.  Post it.
