Name: Terence Shaw - Goes by Shaw, anyone who calls him Terence gets a quick slap across the back of the head.

Powers:  
Time manipulation - To the slightest degree. Shaw is able to slow time, but only when he gets into a 'dueling stance'. This essentially means, legs apart, hands on his guns and ready to fire. In this mode, time moves vastly slower, but still moves. This allows him to dodge incoming bullets to a certain degree and just think out his plan of attack really.

Super Speed - He's a lot slower in his old age, but his draw is as quick as ever. He can draw his guns faster than a speeding bullet and, even at his old age, can run faster than most young men.

Enhanced attributes - In general, Shaw is more than just your average old man. He still functions as if he was in his late 20s for the most part and can take a hit better than most.

'Call it a hunch' - Shaw's own 'spidey sense'. He has the uncanny ability to sense imminent danger. This has saved his ass more times than he can count.

Personality: 
You'd expect Shaw to be a grizzled vet, world weary and tired of the superhero business. Truth is, that would have been accurate a few years ago, but nowadays he's back into the swing of things and has that zest he had as a young man back. Even though he doesn't know it, he has something of a complex when it comes to being a father. Since his father treated him so poorly, and he never got the chance to have his own kid, he actively seeks out an apprentice to teach his ways. Ever since the death of his apprentice this search has slowed, but never stopped. 

Also, as if it weren't obvious, he loves western films.

Appearance: 
Shaw stands at 6 foot and has a surprisingly fit physique for a man his age. He often calls himself a 'silver fox', trying to hide his age and obvious grey hair. His eyes are a piercing blue, something which he often got compliments on as a younger man. His costume consists of a red scarf, beige shirt, black trousers and brown boots, complete with spurs. He also bears an armband, displaying the logo of his former superhero squad - an octopus. 

History:
Shaw was actually born in Czechoslovakia under the Iron Curtain with a much different name and lifestyle. His family had been desperate to escape the Eastern Bloc even before Shaw's birth, that was just the catalyst. They managed to make it all the way to France with what little money they had. And after a few months of scrimping and saving with what jobs they could get, managed to board passage to America, the land of opportunity.

Shaw was brought up on Westerns. His father was obsessed with America and the opportunity it had given him to start his own business and get back on his feet. As a young lad, Shaw's heroes were Clint Eastwood, Yul Brynner and of course, John Wayne. He sometimes wonders if they were more his heroes, or his fathers.

His powers first developed around his teen years.
