The wolf stayed by his side, growling at the students around them, the restraining hand Thracius had on his head the only thing keeping him there. He’d trained the wolf since he was a pup- he would no sooner disobey Thracius then cease to breath. Stopping in front of their father, Thracius glanced back towards the two Midgardian’s, his gaze lingering on the girl he’d been talking with. He was still perplexed by the topic of that conversation, and he watched her for a moment or two, before shaking his head. What was he doing, thinking on what a Midgardian had said to him? Foolish. Although the “Giving of thanks” still confused him. He turned his attention towards his father, pushing aside those thoughts. He wasn’t here to pander to Midgardians, nor to give them the time of day. They weren’t worth his confusion. He glanced to his father, but turned his attention to Svanna. The rather loud mouthed female hadn’t, it seemed, done much for her. Whether or not that was because his father had called them back, he didn’t know. ”We’ll get you some help soon, Svanna.” he promised, his tone gentle as he spoke to his sister, giving her a rare smile. they’d find some healers, and she’d be seen to. He’d make sure of that. He patted Fenrir on the head, and the large wolf sat by his side. One would be mistaken if they thought the wolf was relaxing. It was quite the opposite, the wolf was still on alert, watching the other students around them. His ear’s flickered, and occasionally there was a growl. The wolf watched the blond dog rush about and did not seem to be impressed. Or maybe he was just thinking what a nice snack the dog would be. Thracius didn’t know. He glanced back to his father, pausing a moment as he wondered whether or not he should say something, when they were interrupted by yet another Midgardian. Just how many of them were there here? The female appeared, just like the rest of them, squishy and bothersome. She dared to walk right up to Svanna, as if she had a right to! Thracius growl was echoed in Fenrir, the large wolf rising onto all fours once more, his teeth bared. Thracius, rather reluctantly, laid a restraining hand on his head once more, the wolf quivering under his touch. ”Step away from her.” He said, his voice leaving no room for disobedience as he put himself between the female and his sister. ”We need not your help, Midgardian.” He crossed his arms, glaring at the female, his expression one as if to say What are you still here for?. He kept his gaze on her, not concerned with what his father would do, nor did he seem to worry what anyone watching would think. Anything that was about to happen was interrupted by the announcement overhead, and Thracus lowered his voice further, ”Move.”
