KOTETSU SHIRAHANE
36 years old

Kotetsu is a vocal coach for the juniors and the immature ex-husband of Mitsuru Madore. He attended AOA in his youth, where he was apart of the boyband WILDLUCK, and together with his team, they dominated the UwaPri contest all four years in a row. It was also because of WILDLUCK that he met his ex-husband Mitsuru, who was his bandmate. The popularity of WILDLUCK caused his already huge ego to expand and he and Mitsuru ruled AOA like kings. After graduation, he attended college as a music major and became a personal vocal coach to aspirating artists. In the 14 years after graduating college, he has been the personal coach to the famous artists Saylor Twift, Katti Berry, Bruno Mercury, and Trustin Beaver. But he soon grew tired of it and quit doing personal coaching. For a while he became househusband and stayed at home to do chores and clean while Mitsuru was at work. But sure enough, he grew tired of that too and went looking for a job. It was just by chance that he ran into Byakko at the supermarket and was told about the opening at AOA for a vocal coach. Coincidentally Mitsuru was already working at AOA at the time and Kotetsu jumped at the chance to work with his husband.

But as time passed, he came to regret this decision when their marriage came crumbling down a few years later. After a particularly explosive argument, Kotetsu left their home to stay at a friend's house to cool off and refused all contact with Mitsuru. He changed his phone number in the heat of the moment and never told his husband where he was. At first he was only planning to stay there for a week or two, but on top work and personal life, he lost track of time and didn't come home for a month. Not to mention that his ego wouldn't let him make first contact with Mitsuru and basically waited for him to come crawling back, which never happened. When he came back to their home, he found all of Mitsuru's personal items gone and his wedding ring sitting on top of a box. His friends told him that Mitsuru had gone on vacation and had given them his house key and put the home up for sale. Unaffected, Kotetsu took his stuff and bought a mansion with the money he earned from his personal lessons. He dumped all of their stuff in a spare room and bought all new furniture. The divorce papers came in the mail not long after and Kotetsu signed them without putting up a fight.

He continues to live alone in his large home with his dog Daisuke. He treats his dog like he would a child and spends thousands of dollars to care for him, most likely projecting all hurt he felt from the divorce onto his dog as a form of comfort. He still works at AOA which means that he sees Mitsuru on a daily basis, but was too stubborn to quit after the divorce. He is still very bitter from how their separation was handled ((because he did NOTHING wrong, of course)) and makes sure that EVERYONE on campus knows it, even going as far as complaining to his students about it. During the few times that he and his ex are in the same room, a confrontation happens and it's a rite of passage for the students at AOA to be present for atleast one of their fights.
