[@BladeSS4], you can use the previous thread as a reference for the opening post of a character. You can write about what your character was doing the day before they were picked up, or mention it, what are they thinking right now about being chosen for the Champions. 

If push comes to shove, just a well developed paragraph simply in response to their arrival would work.
