"Greetings, Headmistress." Selvina gave a polite hello before continuing. "She gave about as much trouble as one could expect, though the fox being along with us as well made it more difficult ..." Sel gave a brief description of their trip - she'd leave it up to Gwynn to fill in the details. "Hope I didn't disappoint you there. Anyways ..." The mage leaned forward a bit as the story was wrapped up. "You already probably know what I'm going to ask, so I'll spare you on the details." Selvina flipped through her tome, looking at the notes. "I'm graduating, and I'd like to stay here for a bit longer. I know you've been looking for teachers, researchers, and a new librarian. I wouldn't mind filling one of those positions if you'll have me." For a couple seconds, the mage went quiet. She hoped that the Headmistress would be interested in having her ... but perhaps a bit more would help persuade her? "You know my grades are excellent, and beyond that the general knowledge of the material. Additionally, I have powerful family ties. Also, I'm probably one of the five most bookish people in existence, headmistress." She hoped she sounded more convincing than she felt. For all she knew, the headmistress could be looking for someone who could play the ukulele. "And I've been both a man and a woman. That sort of experience has to be worth SOMETHING on a resume." Aetheria simply rolled her eyes, returning to the main office and sitting down. Strange people, priestesses were. She truthfully never understood them, but it wasn't much of her business. It wasn't her job to convey the will the gods, at least. It was her job however to enjoy that mug of coffee that she drank as she waited for the first patient of the day to enter. For all she knew, someone would get their arm cut off through some strange mismanagement of a spell. Or someone would try to cast a certain type of 'enlarge' spell that would need to be fixed. That was surprisingly common among the few male students the academy had - everyone in the school was a whore, and even the whores whored on each other. And the whores who didn't whore on eachother had familiars to whore for them. At least her most recent patients weren't that much into sex, or otherwise the new girl would have found herself on the side of the street. "You can't wait until we get around the school? Seriously!? Did you believe I'd cook something as I walked!?" The cat sighed. This lizard was her better, and deserved to be treated with kindness. "Fine - I understand miss. Here." The cat tossed a couple of coins towards the lizard. There were few places open at this hour, but one of them was nearby. "Go inside and eat. I'll wait out here for you to be finished ..." The place Maoin pointed to had quickly cooked fish on sticks, something that hopefully the dimwitted lizard could consume quickly to tide her over until they managed to return home, where the cat would cook her a nice, big feast and force herself to resist the temptation to add poison to either her own or Avaline's portions - she wasn't sure at this point which one would be more effective at resolving her problems with the dimwitted lizard at this point.
