It was evident that there existed some sort of awkwardness between Shuichi and Maemi; Their outlook on what Elizabeth spoke exceedingly different from each other. As Shuichi waved back at Maemi, she watched him leave, disappearing to where ever the spell took him. Her expression had the hint of curiosity as Maemi tried to fathom Shuichi's perspective, yet her countenance disappeared as she remembered Elizabeth's explanation. In truth, Maemi was woefully unprepared for any sort of lengthy undertaking. Sure, Maemi had her wand, but what about basic necessities? Clothes? Personal items? Gardening tools? Right now, Maemi had nothing but her wand, a stick, and the clothes on her back. If Maemi was to undertake anything, she would have to return home, and with that in mind, Maemi made haste to the forest and returned to her family's mostly rural homestead. By the time Maemi returned, she had been accompanied by a rather large and rugged backpack, like what one would expect a hiker or a camper to carry. Maemi had all the bare necessities for an outdoor life, or at least for someone with a heavy respect for nature. Various tools adorned the heavy pack, evidently stuffed to the brim with whatever Maemi thought she could or would need during her stay at this "academy." Gazing in the direction of where a crowd once stood, Maemi noticed a few of her apparent companions had already made their way to the gate, and she soon followed in their footsteps. Appearing at the other end of the portal, Maemi, like the others that came with her, had been greeted with a mansion seemingly overtaken by nature. A light breeze rustled by, and the surrounding area reminded Maemi of her home, fittingly in the same country according to Elizabeth. The trees were of similar make like those back at her family's homestead, yet what had really thrown Maemi for a loop was the sudden explosion of magic. The magic radiated from the mansion, pulsating and nearly overpowering when compared to what Maemi had been used too her whole life. Still, Maemi made an oath, and she certainly knew she couldn't back down now; her appearance determined.
