His patience would have to go just a bit longer. He shuffled into the kitchen, to see Eve waiting for them. His eyes locked back onto her, still jarred from her last comment. His stomach grumbled as he saw the food on the table, and made himself a sandwich as she continued to explain their current predicament. He wolfed down his food, dying apparently having taken a lot out of him. He did find it odd that Miss Lucas repeatedly said things in a a language none of them knew, apparently to Gilbert. Was she so blatant about keeping things hidden from them? He listened as she explained the time loop, and put it together that this must be The Watch's power, unless they had some kind of insane technology from the future, but given the Emenedator's name, he favored this idea. He didn't quite understand what she meant by falling into the loop, but there were still more important things to worry about, as he was about to get the answer to the biggest thing on his mind since he got here. He nodded along, a frown across his face, his predictions coming true, at least partially. They were soldiers against these Destruere, whatever they were. The idea of something pure evil didn't exactly mesh with Bart's worldview, but that didn't really matter. If he was to believe the Eve, which was still in contention, then these things were diametrically opposed to the goals of human kind, and he'd rather humans keep living. That doesn't meant he was at all comfortable with the idea of killing something though, containment seemed more moral. But as far as he could see the options, it was either die now, or die later, and as he'd already said, he didn't have any plans on dying again soon. Besides that, it was far to tantalizing, seeing the world, and all of time, and getting superpowers. The only major cause of concern was the feeling Miss Lucas described, of needing to help, sounded unnatural and weird, and he didn't at all like the idea of something messing with his mind. But maybe he could deal with that, it was better than dying for sure. He then watched in surprise as Evelina pulled out a large number of dice and rolled them all. Concern crossed his face when he saw the look she gave Andromeda, and his gaze followed over to her, before returning to Miss Lucas. Bart gave a hum when she said she'd answer a question from each of them. This felt totally unfair, but he wasn't at all in a position to argue, he couldn't make her give him answers. He looked down at the table, and drummed his fingers on the table. He'd need to carefully consider what his question would be, and thought about her words. On the topic of nobody owing anybody anything, he supposed that applied to her as well. It seemed evident that he was not brought to life out of the goodness of Eve's heart, but rather because she wanted him to help her, and therefore, they should be on equal footing with each other. He'd truly take her words to heart. Bart turned his attention back to Gill as Eve divided them all up. He was still a bit peckish, and so he grabbed a slice of bread, buttered it, and nibbled on it. He then felt the room suffer a massive drop in temperature and what sounded like a lighting bolt, making him shiver. "Is that normal around here?" He inquired, before eating the rest of his bread and standing up, crossing his arms to keep them warm. He then heard The Hat talking about a weather manipulator, and figured that one of his fellow paradoxes, or even maybe himself, must have done that. He stood up, and nodded, "I'm ready. You're um... The Hat right? Alicia said you decorated my room... Thank you." He said, perhaps a bit awkwardly, "I was just wondering though, how'd you know I'd want those things?" He was curious how much they knew about him, and knowing how they got that information could tell him that.
