Quinn's eyes flashed open and he groaned. He always groaned when he woke up, it was the worst part of the day after all. But, knowing that nothing that he knew short of a horse tranquilizer could put him back to sleep, he sighed, creaked, and rolled outta bed. He stretched, he'd found that it was important to stretch in the morning, otherwise his skins tendency toward stiffness would overtake him throughout the whole day. After sufficiently cracking various parts of his body, Quinn headed downstairs. He'd been more than excited to take over the abandoned diner when he found that it remained unclaimed upon his moving to town, and had even taken it upon himself to attempt to restore the old girl. Quinn found his peace partway through a halfway decent cup of coffee and a stack of pancakes made from Mama Jonson's Famous Recipe. Staring out over the city as the rising sun cast red and yellow shades over the whole of it Quinn decided that, since he'd turned 21 just a few days ago and would have to report to the lab soon anyway, he might as well do so looking good, so, after finishing his breakfast and throwing on halfway decent clothes, Quinn headed to the center of town, looking for a tailor. After wandering for a few hours, Quinn finally found one, and began the process of being fitted for a new suit. [@Dealdric] Partway through his fitting, an unusual character burst through the door, apparently a friend of the owner. "Hey Liz" she'd said, but Quinn was simply looking her up and down, clearly a mutant by her lizard-like appearance, Quinn had seen mutations similar, if he thought about it, he too was a little bit like this girl, and the voice was somehow clearly feminine. So the wooden-boy waved and mouthed a "Hi" as Liz, the shop-owner, did the same, but with a little bit more actual sound.
