Samgolan Patriotic Party
The Trial of Zan Mahol was a long and tenuous thing to say the least mainly lawyers loyal to the SD saying everything they could about how legal the SDSF truly was. The trial lasted a total of five hours before the jury was sent to decided upon the case where they spent an additional three hours to decide the fate of Mahol. Eventually, the Jury came back to the court and stated, “Zan Mahol is found guilty of breaking law thirty-seven, however he is not guilty of treason to the state,” the speaker told the courtroom, the lawyers for Mahol sighed in relief as this was the best possible outcome for the man. “Very well, Zan Mahol, I sentence you to no more than five years in prison, but only three years with good behavior,” the judge said, before hitting his gavel down, “I find this trial adjourned.”
The Minister of Defense was glad to see that the Air Force was providing some much needed support for the ground forces in Ziwa. However the situation of Matutuke Air Force Base has definitely caught his eye, not wanting for the pilots to work under hazardous situations in their own air fields as well as wanting something that was more up-to-date, allowed the funds of just over two-million to be allocated to the air base. It would no doubt improve their ability to strike at the militia forces with ease.
