Haven't had the chance of reading up on every character but Bec seems like he could be a foil to Karliah and Shippai. Karliah is very focused on training and fights close quarters while Bec dismisses hard work and prefers to fight at a comfortable distance. Shippai has naturally low ki and was abandoned by her parents while Bec is a prodigy and walked away from his home.
