With his business and loyalty secured, Lucas continued to listen in about the princesses and the Seekers. He simply nodded, noting to himself that this was a race against a clock that they couldn’t even see. The matters of the X-Blade’s potential were still unclear to him but if he was granted all of his demands with no resistance then it was probably beyond his mortal understanding. He soon quickly realized the gravity of the situation he had found himself and doubt began to sink in once more. They needed to act now!..
