Odum hadn't spoke sense, but he only slept o n the floor, facing the front door. Odum was thinking why he was acting this way, he never cared about anything but himself, but now, now his attitude is different, maybe it was because he was the eldest, or maybe it was because he was in some unfamiliar land. Odum though about this before drowsing off a light sleep, hearing the crackle of the fireplace, and looking around to think one last thing before he went to sleep, Were in some deep shit, and closed his eyes. Odum woke with a start, he looked around to see it was dawn and he was early, he thought for minute to see what to do. After that, he grabbed his rifle, leaning against the hallway wall, and went out the front door, closing it silently, though there was a creak, he hoped no one would notice that. After what seemed to be minutes, he went to a clearing in the woods, with some stumps on the ground. Odum grabbed his rifle, and aimed it toward the nearest stump, about 4 feet away, and pulled the trigger, the gun exploded and the bullet cam flying, and the stump was hit. The sound was loud, loud enough for some Crows to fly away. Then, he unloaded the rifle and saw that the loading was full, even though he shot one bullet, this led him to think he had infinite bullets. Odum smiled at that thoguht and checked his back pocket, finding a Flintlock, and pulled the back down, then pulled the trigger. The bullet reached the stump, at the same place, but with less force, he was grinning now and deiced to play with it, and test some more.
