I've finally done it!" Powdered sugar had coated every surface like snow overnight. Mixing bowls were piled high in the sink with their whisks conveniently licked clean. In a small girl's hands was a tray that smelled heavily of citrus and seemed to have been the only clean and orderly item in the room. Her hair had tangled, her apron was as covered as the counters and her hands were caked with dough. "Oh Kara sweetie, it looks delicious..." The sound of overwhelming pride filled her grandmother's voice from behind her and Kara's stomach did a flip of joy. "...But what's that smell?" Kara looked down at the tray she was holding, on it were what looked to be fluffy lemon cakes, but she didn't feel the heat radiate off of the delicate treats. They were as light as a feather and... Why did she hear the wind if they were inside the kitchen? She looked out the window and saw the sun shining, but not a twig moved. She turned to look back up at her grandmother, only to see an empty wheelchair in her place with a set of white lilies adorning the black chair. No.... A gasp of worried terror clogged her throat, "Mam-" Snap! The sudden sound next to Kara's head made her small body involuntarily flinch and her eyes sprang open. She felt the green turf under her and shuddered, Kara had never been an avid fan of grass. She sat up and felt around to make sure her wings weren't damaged. They seemed fine, though the entire left side of her body felt wet with dew. But why was she outside? Movement out of the corner of her eye made her turn to see a man at least twice the size of her with large biceps reaching out to her. Kara backpedaled, her skirt hiking up to her knees as her hand caught on it and she slipped onto her back. It was obvious in this situation. Kara was outside somewhere where someone had taken her and a giant man was reaching to grab her, she was in trouble. Kara let out a high pitched scream! "Get away from me! Help!"

Darkness. A scene that may look black, but was entirely devoid of color and yet filled with every hue imaginable. A void of nothingness and everything as well. This is what sleep meant for Hibiki. Cloaked in a blanket of the Abyss. Something was clawing at Hibiki's throat, or rather, something was making it numb, but either way it was uncomfortable. Whatever he was laying on was unconfortable too. Something cold, hard, and nothing like his favorite place at all- his bed. He tried laying there still for a few more seconds, wishing for sleep to capture him again, yet to no avail. Feeling around him without opening his eyes, he felt more of the same hard stone until his arm reached out and felt nothing. Hibiki swept out his leg and felt for what he suspected was the ground and that he was elevated on some kind of table. He wasn't wrong. His shoe sank into the dewy ground, but all Hibiki could register was that it was soft. And so the blue-haired teenager stood up with his eyes barely open in slits, only to lay back down on the ground and let out a sigh of relief. . .. ... ...? You know that feeling when your half in and out of sleep, but you know you've slept too long and missed something? This epiphany came over the glasses wearing Ultimate. Blinking up at the blue sky, he sighed and sat up. His uniform let out an earthy scent and would probably need a washing if he didn't wipe it off right away. But hibiki had never been a stickler for the clean and orderly. 'bless this mess' or so that saying goes. He had seen it on pinterest, it had to be a lifestyle, right? With one hand bracing himself on the stone table he had inhabited before, Hibiki looked around. The table was actually a bench facing a large stone ampitheater, past it a lake. Hibiki had until recently been living in a bustling metropolis, so this was rather off to say the least. The boy stood up and patted his back off, not doing much to the slightly soiled garment. There seemed to be movement near the tree nearby, but Hibiki didn't give it much thought. Rather, there were two much more pressing matters, well, if you included two problems as a package deal. One problem was his throat and body. His back ached and his throat needed water, there was also the slight hunger eating away at his stomach. The second problem was that there seemed to be a girl... Who had settled for a nap just like him? Hibiki had never taken a tour of Hope's Peak academy, but there facilities seemed to be quite massive. He headed over to the unconscious girl and took a seat next to her. She seemed to be resting quite peacefully and the blue haired teenager envied her slightly. Wasn't it almost the weekend? He needed his sleep in time. He laid back next to her, "Hey, it's morning sleepyhead."
