[indent][indent][indent][indent]♚⋮ __ * [i]MAGICAL GIRL COSTUME[/i] ▬ ◞  enid's [url=https://i.imgur.com/h4k5rMV.jpg]costume[/url] is somewhat of a metaphor for her heart when she first became a magical girl. dark, elusive, [s][i]edgy[/i][/s] yet surprisingly vulnerable, her outfit is made for stealth, support, and reconnaissance operations rather than battling in the frontlines. [indent][indent][indent][indent]♚⋮ __ * [i]POWERS[/i] ▬ ◞  like her costume, enid's powers reflect a part of her soul when she was recruited. back then, one of her greatest desires was to live away from everyone's attention. such a wish caused her powers to be specialized for making her as hidden as possible while still dealing a good deal of damage at range. while she can defend herself in melee combat, she cannot stage frontal assaults. her weapon is a sleek bow and arrow that manifests whenever she needs it. the quiver supplies her with different kinds of arrows depending on her purpose and never runs out. small knives that can be used as throwing knives or in melee combat are also available.[/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent]

＊░ [i]O[/i]1. ）DUSK PREDATOR ━ [i]passive ability.[/i] being a magical girl particularly gave enid enhanced endurance, flexibility, speed, dexterity, and perception. for better or for worse, it also changed her eye color to a tinge of red over the years.
＊░ [i]O[/i]2. ）INDISCERNIBLE ━ [i]passive ability.[/i] enid is much harder to be recognized by normal humans and even magical foes. however, the effect is lowered as the creature's level/rank rises. the same principle applies to tracking magic or devices.
＊░ [i]O[/i]3. ）RED HERRING ━ an illusory duplicate of enid appears right next to her and can take complex commands. however, a particularly strong attack, extended use, and/or enid losing focus (which is the least likely of the three)  would cause the duplicate to fade into smoke. the ability takes a lot out of enid so it would be hard to instantly summon another duplicate once the other disappears. back when they were still new to the business, the duplicate could barely follow any orders. it made for interesting episodes [s]and a comedic filler episode[/s] at least.
＊░ [i]O[/i]4. ）SHADOW'S BREATH ━ a dark fog covers the vicinity and puts to sleep or poisons any foe in the area. the toxic cloud would temporarily knockout weaker opponents while stronger ones would be awake but momentarily getting increasing damage over time. the ability has no effect on allied/harmless characters and also serves as a way to obscure them.
＊░ [i]O[/i]5. ）DEATH'S TRAMP ━ enid throws magical spikes in an area, slowing down and hurting enemies and allies alike. such spikes are somewhat of a bastard combination of caltrops and explosive mines. the detonations let out toxic dust instead of fire.
＊░ [i]O[/i]6. ）STORMING ARROWS ━ enid fires her entire quiver on the battlefield, taking down enemy ranks swiftly. surviving opponents are slowed down for a given time. 
＊░ [i]O[/i]7. ）ARROW OF MERCY ━ [i]retired ability.[/i] enid's once-preferred ability was a lethal arrow carrying such force that it would tear through virtually anyone in it's path - be it foes, allies, or civilians - then explode. it was ironic, bloody, and dangerous. young enid gave the ability the misnomer after her father and her brother weren't given the mercy they deserved in the hands of the monsters who killed them.

[indent][indent][indent][indent]♚⋮ __ * [i]HISTORY WITH JUSTICE HEART[/i] ▬ ◞  enid didn't have the purest intentions when she joined justice heart. instead of justice, her heart was wracked with vengeance for the very monsters who turned her life upside down. before everything went to shit, she was the first child of a rising politician and a famed hollywood socialite, model, and philanthropist. enid and her younger brother, eiichi, may be [i]slightly[/i] neglected by both parents but at least it was luxurious despair they were too young to recognize. it may be melancholy at times but at least their family was complete.

it wasn't often for the carraways to be together as a family. it wasn't always they had a chance to get out of the limelight. enid could still remember that summer dusk as if it was yesterday. it was a rare opportunity for the family to bond and unwind. lucian carraway wasn't wearing a crisp suit but a tacky floral shirt that screamed "dad on vacation". famous model and socialite naomi fukushima-carraway was without make-up. meanwhile, the two carraway siblings were arguing over which justice heart member would win in a hypothetical battle royale. everything was mundane for a while and then suddenly [i]it wasn't.[/i]

in a blink of an eye, enid carraway lost everything. when reality hit her, the car was already turned over. her father was dead, her mother sobbing to the man's still chest. eiichi, her mischievous little brother, begging and screaming and sobbing at the pain all over his body. in the distance, enid could see a blurry figure of some monstrosity. there was a dull throbbing in her head before she lost consciousness again. but before her eyes shut, enid remembers vowing to grant these monsters the same mercy they gave her father and brother. [i]nil.[/i]

it took enid years but her time donning the cape - [i]or hood in her case[/i] - with the rest of justice heart helped let go of the thirst for vengeance that threatened to corrupt her. due to her background, enid is naturally aloof, condescending, yet surprisingly awkward when it comes to interacting outside etiquette. it took a very long time as well but she found happiness and friendship in her companions.[/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent]


[indent][indent][indent][indent]♚⋮ __ * [i]HISTORY AFTER JUSTICE HEART[/i] ▬ ◞  enid felt betrayal, shame, and anger when justice heart had to split abruptly due to worthless infighting. while she was never particularly close with their de-facto leader emily, she felt especially betrayed for she trusted the woman with her life -- and life is something enid especially treasures after knowing what it was like to kill and witnessing her family's death. never one for outbursts, a slap and a scathing remark were all enid left before she ultimately distanced herself from the group. infuriated that she couldn't leave cali to start anew, she settled with surrounding herself with different people in college and building herself from the ground up. she avoided most of the justice heart members or at least acted indifferently enough that it would seem they never knew each other at all.

in university, enid carraway was able to continue the healing and soul-searching she started when she became a magical girl. for once, she ultimately felt at peace. over the years, she found love and ambition -- though never quite the same sense of belonging she had while in justice heart. while she kind of holds a grudge towards them for "betraying" her, she still kept their contacts and made sure to hire an investigator whenever one or two changes their number or e-mail. she doesn't really keep in touch with most of them but she ensures that she knows enough about them to secretly provide help in case they need it. [i]perhaps[/i] deep inside, enid really just wants to reconnect with the people who knew her best and helped her flourish. after all, she didn't really need to continue watching over them like back in the days.[/indent][/indent][/indent][/indent]
