Morgan stared at Club Nyte across the street. The humans were lined around the corner waiting for a chance to get inside, even though it was already after 10:30. He sniffed the air and had to bite his lip to keep from howling. There were a few souls that would be escorted home tonight, but that wasn't his job for now; he had the week off. I wonder if this is a trap.... Most "Mythos" are weary of me........But it's always a good idea to know safe places to go. Morgan crossed the street towards the entrance of Club Nyte. A few women called out to him, offering to be his date for the evening; but he continued towards the bouncer without a glance at them. The bouncer put out his hand to stop Morgan; who stopped just before it, looking at it questioningly. The bouncer, looking at his clipboard says, "Name?" "Morgan Hundur." "Yes sir, as our VIP guest....", Morgan lost the rest of what was said due to the odd smell that just hit him. There is no way one is here..... He looked around, and barely saw her as she stood just in the shadow of the street light. She looked like she always did; blonde hair, blue eyes that you literally could get lost in. "Hold up a sec." Morgan ran over to the girl in the shadow, looked down into her forever lost blue eyes and whispered, "I thought you said he was the one. You didn't come back to the house. It's been centuries." The woman looked up into his black eyes tinged with red; in a faint, lilting voice she whispered,"It hasn't been long at all Morgan, but he wasn't the one. I will tell you after the meeting. Shall we be each others escort, as before?" Morgan shook his head, Rill could never keep track of time, she probably thinks that this all happened last month. But if she's here, there's nothing for me to worry about. He offered his arm, as he said, "My lovely Rill, I would be honored if you would accompany me." Rill laughed, the sound like trickling water, "Oh Morgan, how I've missed my Big Brother." She linked her arm with his as they walked back towards the bouncer. As they approached, the bouncer smiled slyly at Morgan and asked, "A lovely guest, Mr. Hundur?" Rill locked her eyes with the bouncer, "My name is Ms. Teich, I am invited. Keep your thoughts to yourself." Oh hell, what have you been doing the past few centuries? You're ready to gut this man in front of everyone, Just to make a point. Morgan roughly pulled at their linked arms, looking down at Rill he said, "Rill, that's not how you impress a guy. You're supposed to worship the ground we walk on, wear short skirts, and make us sandwiches." Rill looked up at Morgan in surprise, "What the hell is a sandwich?" Morgan chuckled as he nodded to the bouncer, and lead Rill into Club Nyte.
Rill still didn't understand what a sandwich was, but now she was being guided into the club by Morgan. I knew Morgan would always protect me, but I didn't know he'd protect me from myself. If he only knew how hard it's been..... How long has it been since we last saw each other....last month?....Oooo, nice club....Why am I here again?.....Oh, Morgan's with me. She looked around at all the people dancing with the music, and quite surprised to see The Lobos were really Lobos; except for the drummer. What an interesting place....This should be a wonderful night. She smiled up at Morgan, the bouncer completely forgotten, "Shall we head to the VIP room? I think it might be better in a smaller crowd."
Morgan nodded his head, and lead them to the next door. To the bouncer he said, "Morgan Hundur and Ms. Rilla Teich." This bouncer must have heard what happened at the front, because he had the door open for them before he said "and". Morgan sat Rill into a plush chair, and went to the bar for drinks. He smiled at the pretty blond behind the counter, "Double whisky, straight, and a double vodka, straight." Morgan left a $20 in the tip cup and headed back to Rill, handing her the whiskey. "Now we wait." "Now we wait," she whispered to herself. Just looking around the room at all the "Mythos", and the few humans that are staff.
