Legend lore is canon lore + extra.

For a few things in legend that'll be used in canon eventually...

Dark Troopers MK1-3 (FYI Dark Trooper MK3s could solo 5 darth vaders easily.)

Grey Jedi
Droid Jedi
Droid Clockwork Virus (Turns living things into droids.)
Space Zombies
Lots and lots of superweapons
Abeloth or Force C'thulu

Just to name a few. Lots to work with.

I'd totally be into it. Would a Nanobot Swarm droid work fine? Thats my favorite.
