[indent]Junko adores the fashion of [i]Nijū[/i] and has even before her whole magical thing. Growing up near a rather central hub for eclectic fashion while also having no real discernible eye for trends or styles or making things a coherent whole, Junko adopted a philosophy of 'wear what looks fun' and that's something she carries into her school life as well. Even though she's bound by regulation into wearing a uniform on campus, she's tested the student guidebook rules of accessories to the point where her uniform has pins and patches sewn into them, most of which she doesn't even know what they mean only that they look cool. She also wears glasses - just the frames as they have no lenses in them - because it makes her feel smarter. When outside of uniform Junko's clothing is rather loud.
 Bright colors that clash, clothes direct from Takeshita Street, shirts and hats with words she doesn't know, it's all an eclectic mix that trades in style over substance. But she makes it work. Probably because she doesn't seem to stop smiling.[/indent]

[indent]Junko never really knew her parents. The keyword there is 'parents'. Plural. With an 'S'. She knew one of her parents, that being her father, and the two of them got along rather well. The two of them live in Shibuya which allowed Junko numerous weekend excursions to Harajuku's Takeshita Street where she could look at all the fashion and boutiques and have a good time just window shopping as a little girl. Her father never really revealed the fact that his estranged wife had secrets all her own but when it comes to magical children the secrets come out before long. Junko wasn't upset when the truth came out and she got her formal letter in the mail, she was rather excited up until she was informed that just because she was magic didn't mean she was a [i]mahou shoujo[/i] like the PreCures or the Sailor Senshi. 

Still, she was excited to discover a whole new world that felt as electric and wonderfully strange as the streets of Harajuku had been.
 In her time at Mahoutokoro she's learned a few things about magic, as one does, but also some aspects about her family that her father also kept hidden. Mahoutokoro has provided more than just a place to learn about spellcraft and wizardry, it's also been a place where Junko could develop hobbies and interests relevant to her own. She's gotten herself a bit of a reputation on campus for being a fortune teller - not a Seer or even a Divination practitioner - but a fortune teller who plenty of younger students come to for love readings and the like. Even when she gives less than optimistic fortunes she does so with a wide smile and an almost innocent glow. 

But given that Mahoutokoro has led to her finding out about family she didn't know she even had, smiling was what kept her going through the initial awkward revelatory bits.[/indent]
