it is easy to assume that Nix has a very weak aura because her ability is to mask her aura and even her very own presence in the senses of others. She does not become invisible, her semblance makes her seem almost blurry and hard to detect even when someone is looking directly at her. Any sounds she makes are silenced, her body temperature is masked, shadows seem to stretch and follow her to help keep her hidden and her aura becomes like a void, nothing.

-History-
Nix grew up outside of any big cities or towns in the forest with her father who was a Huntsman. They often had to deal with Grimm attacks but her father used it as an opportunity to teach Nix how to hunt the monsters. Her father was an expert, he treated the Grimm like they were an animal that could be hunted like any other animal, one just had to be smart about it and to respect the creatures. 
She lived most of her life with just her father in their cabin until she was scouted by Beacon. The school had contacted Nix's father and sent a letter asking if Nix would like to join the academy and become a full fledged Huntress. It actually took some convincing from her father before she agreed and left home to go to the school.
Since the increase in Grimm attacks Nix has not been able to contact her father, where they lived generally tended to be a quiet area but she fears that he may not be alive, desperately trying to keep the hope that he is still fighting and safe somewhere.
-Personality-
Nix is very quiet and reserved, she has a hard time talking to new people and often hangs back in a crowd and tries to not draw attention to herself. When alone she prefers reading comics and writing her own stories, She also tinkers on her spare time with various types of traps of her own design. It can take some time for Nix to warm up to a new group of friends, once she does though Nix will come out of her shell and feel most comfortable around them. 
-Fighting Style- 
She prefers using the element of surprise, sneaking up on her opponents from blind spots or setting ambushes with traps and choke points. Nix refrains from fighting in the open, looking to engage her opponent in places with lots of cover and places to hide. A large part of her style of fighting is tactical retreats to areas where she has prepared traps or an ambush point.
