Sara has often been called assertive, able to speak her mind, even if it means upsetting anyone. That's just fine with her. She's relaxed and care-free most of the time, preferring to not worry about demands placed on her. Even though she would have no trouble. She's intelligent and resourceful, earning top marks in school, but she won't brag about that.

Sara can be impulsive because that's more fun. What's life without the risks involved? She's clever and witty, able to smooth things over or rile people up with her colorful words. She's sarcastic a lot of the time too. She's disorganized mainly because she can't give a damn about placing things where they need to be or keeping a timetable. She's frustrating to deal with, but she'd have your back in a heartbeat.

[b][color=ED455F]How did you discover your powers:[/color][/b] Sara grew up knowing mutants were a thing. It was hard to get away from it when your aunt was a well known psychic mutant. Especially one who went a bit...crazy. Still, her parents tried their best to shelter Sara away, but she wouldn't listen. Her parents never manifested any abilities, but Sara came to find out when she saw a mutant display his fire manipulation ability in front of her when she was 10. She "copied" the power in her mind and, some call to the fire station later, she found out she was able to copy powers. She didn't hide this from her parents, but needless to say, they were less than thrilled.

[b][color=ED455F]Why did you choose the side that you did?:[/color][/b] Sara isn't Pro-Mutant. It doesn't make sense for the Brotherhood to wipe out the entire human race just because they got butthurt about them not trusting mutants. If you saw someone fly and shoot lasers from their nipples, would you trust them right off the bat? It's best to prove your intentions and let them figure it out for themselves.

[b][color=ED455F]General History:[/color][/b] Sara was born to Melissa and David Grey. The last name may sound familiar. David is Jean Grey's brother. David loves his sister, but he wanted a life away from mutations and tried his best to bring Sara up without it. Jean took an active role in Sara's life, doing her best to hide her powers. Still, it's hard to do with the news and social media. Word was out.

Sara wasn't scared. Quite the opposite, she was thrilled she had a super cool aunt! She wanted to be just like her. Due to this, David asked that Jean limit contact with Sara. It wasn't until Jean went Dark that David knew he made the right choice. 

Sara was 10 years old when she came across a teenage fire manipulator setting the park ablaze. He ran off, but she felt off after seeing him. It was like his picture was stuck in her mind. Later on, she was playing in her backyard when she shot a fire ball out of her hand. She tried again and soon discovered she had fire manipulation powers too! Or rather, not. The power didn't last long and went away, but she tried again. She kept practicing, discovering she could get any power she saw, if only for the briefest moments.

Her parents were upset, naturally. With the amount of mutant distrust, they were scared their daughter would be targeted. That was when Professor Xavier offered words of wisdom. Sara was invited to join the Xavier Institute to develop her powers. They were reluctant at first, but with Sara's insistence she wanted to help and learn, they allowed her to go.
