His maori heritage barely shows but he can quicly sport a tan in the spring. shows through his ’s a Whilst back home he’d happily chill out in shorts, vest and thongs his mother has instilled in him a sense of pride in his appearance whenever in a situation of importance, of which the prestigious school was one. He is therefore normally found in smart casual get up, jeans or chinos with a shirt or jumper along with either brogues or boots. He is therefore also a sucker for keeping up to date with Mugg- Nijū fashion and frequently has new season care packages sent from home.

[indent]The only child of two very differing parents, Josh has a eclectic personality. His father, a quiet bookish Antipodean Opaleye concealment expert for the New Zealand Ministry of Magic, instilled a love of the outdoors, herbology and Magizoology with frequent expeditions into the awe-inspiring wilderness of his country and breeding fire crabs for re-release in Fiji. However, his mother was a far more outgoing character, both an emergency response healer and talented potion maker. This has resulted in a child both reserved and studious but also adventurous and fun-loving, a mixture of complimentary traits from both parents. 
The were obviously both elated to find their tutoring had paid of and their son was going to the Mahoutokoro School of Magic.

[indent]He doesn't really do much in terms of extra-curricular clubs mostly spending free time reading, studying or transfiguring to order for fellow students. His only sociable activities really are helping care for the magical creatures and helping organise guest speakers for the school’s lecture series. Controversially, he’s not really into even watching Quidditch *gasp!*.[/indent]

[indent] An older unclaimed Shikoba Wolfe wand from the early 20th Century. Fir wand that's 1 inches in length with a thunderbird tail feather core.
There is no doubt that this wood, coming as it does from the most resilient of trees, produces wands that demand staying power and strength of purpose in their true owners, and that they are poor tools in the hands of the changeable and indecisive. Fir wands are particularly suited to transfiguration, and favour owners of focused, strong-minded and, occasionally, intimidating demeanour. Wolfe wands are powerful but difficult to master, and apparently good for transfiguration work. Wands with Thunderbird tail feather cores, like the birds the feathers are taken from, are able to sense danger and can cast curses on their own. Wands with Thunderbird tail feather cores have been known to fire curses pre-emptively when supernatural dangers are present. [/indent]

[indent]Josh has both a pet niffler called Amahau who is highly precious in guarding his valuables although naturally curious and a laughing owl (Sceloglaux albifacies), also known as whēkau or the white-faced owl, an endemic owl of New Zealand. Nijū believe the species to be extinct and the New Zealand Ministry of Magic would like to keep it that way to help ensure the continued concern over endemic species in the non-magical community.[/indent]
