When Roland have finished and their Vampiric teacher turned to Duncan, he naturally felt quite nervous and unworthy. "I, um, I've had sword training, but my main strength is archery." he stated simply. And no sooner had he gave his complete rundown of his abilities did the fight start. Roland was relentless, and wasn't holding back for fear of hitting the teacher at all. Despite this, the gap in talent and speed was so vast it was hard to comprehend. Duncan felt no guilt in giving his all too, taking aim with his bow. Even though none of his arrows hit their mark, Yurius would note that he'd had to dodge every single one, and if Duncan were fighting a human without a vampire's reflexes, every single arrow would have been a perfect headshot. Even though they were in a battle situation, Duncan was taking his time aiming and allowing for drop, wind and even the enemy's movement. When his arrows were depleted, Duncan dropped the bow and advanced with his great sword. This was not where his greatest talent lay, and this was obvious. Though he lifted the great sword with far more ease than a boy of his frame should be able to, the by-product of a Centaur's natural biological strength, his attacks were slow, telegraphed and left him wide open. It was a strategy designed to overpower the opponent, and just wouldn't cut it with Yurius or with any of the threats a Dawnslayer may face in the future. --- The Centaur, his face and hair shining with sweat, trotted down the hall. He'd worked up an appetite and a Centaur's appetite was a lot harder to sate than a human's. He was slightly worried that there wouldn't be enough. [@Conscripts][@Awesomoman64][@TheWindel]
