The bell rang before Making could grade her work, so she packed up her bags and headed for the cafeteria. She pushed through the throng of students and teachers alike. Passing a slightly bloody Yurius on the way, her mind wandered to who could of given the ancient vampire so many cuts. She instinctively touched her wristbands to make sure both blades were secure. She had Yurius after lunch and just knew it was going grueling, to make it worse he was her first teacher the next day. No rest for the wicked, right teach?? She thought to herself. She had hoped Roland would see her at lunch as well, tell her that he got the note. They needed to figure out what killed the student, they couldn't sit idly by and become it's next victim. The lunch room was packed for of students, she thought about making herself a little smaller, but wanted to save her shifting in case Yurius forced her to in front of the class. Circe shrugged off the mental shudder at having to reveal her shifting powers on the second day of class. A lot of people still held onto their prejudices against shifters, they fought alongside the famed witch long ago. Many of her ancestors were a huge problem in the first war, they specialized in espionage and infiltration. After the war they were con artists, she had hoped that being invited her wouldn't bring those old stigmas with her, but she wasn't sure. Circe sat down at her classmates table, the spider girl was at the other end eating her food with an intensity that Circe could appreciate. She looked down at her own food, a simple peanut butter and jelly with some plain chips in it. She took a sip of her chocolate milk while surveying the room, everyone was chatting, trying their best to put yesterday's events behind them. Circe wouldn't forget, for the sake of the slain girl, she couldn't afford to.
