[indent]Back when he was still human, Adrian was a young man with a physical appearance that resembled someone in their late teens. His hair was short and a sandy brown with a faint tan to his skin and an about average physique. He had brown eyes and was just showing signs of a stubble before the incident. His favored attire was a red tank top with black jean pants and and a brown hooded jacket. 

As can be seen above, his transformation means this no longer applies, especially since he, or rather she, spends so much time in it.  Now he barely stands up to five feet, has short stubby legs and arms with their hair gold and flowing with one half having curled ends and the other being pointy. He also dons a witch-type attire that is split down the middle with one half being red and the other blue and wears white gloves. His eyes are violet now and his hat has an set of angel and demon wings on it.

[u][b]BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION          [/b][/u]
[indent]Adrian actually had a pretty normal upbringing growing up. He had loving parents, a nice home, some friends he hung out with, and so on. His folks weren’t very wealthy but they did well enough to get by and afford the occasional luxury. As far as he recalled, his family didn’t really have any connections to the supernatural world, no Ki Users or anything...but there was one oddity that always stood out in his life. An antique shop owned by his Uncle, David Jackson. 

The young man tended to spend a fair amount of his free time hanging around the shop, fiddling with the various trinkets his Uncle had collected on his travels and even, at least as he got older, pitching in around the shop and helping to keep it tidy. 

Of course, life didn’t stay so good forever. When he was just getting ready to enter High School, it suddenly came to the surface that his father had been seeing another woman behind his Mom’s back which drove a massive wedge between family members. Needless to say, his Mom didn’t take it well and filed for divorce. 

Realizing what this situation could do to his nephew, David took the boy under his wing for a while and let him stay at his place, partly so he could finish his education. Of course, this event still left its mark on the young man as he became a little more withdrawn and took to his studies as a way to cope. For the most part, life went on as normal...at least until one Halloween night some time after Adrian had graduated. 

See, a few of his friends had gotten together to throw a Halloween Party and his uncle had convinced him to dress up and go have some fun. Wanting to make something half decent, Adrian asked if he could have a rather strange hat he had found buried among the boxes from one of his Uncle’s trips. David agreed, not  fully realizing what this would set in motion.

Adrian put together his Halloween attire and went out to the party...only for his attire to suddenly come to life, a voice echoing from his hat of all places that “they” were coming. Before he even had a chance to wonder if somebody had spiked the punch, a bunch of figures dressed in cloaks decided to crash the party. Being forced to flee, Adrian’s body continued to convulse as the hat tried to convince him to let it help. Needless to say, the young man finally agreed and he was transformed. 

The cultists, laughing at his appearance, transformed into various monsters, thinking they had an easy fight...only for the new entity to crush the lot of them by “repelling” the air with such force that it created a shockwave which destroyed half the warehouse they were fighting in. Not wanting to face the media, Adrian fled and got the story from the talking hat. 

Apparently, the “hat” was actually the soul of a witch named Verena whom had battled an ancient demon king 500 years ago and managed to seal him away at the cost of her physical form and being sealed herself into her own witch hat and lost to time. However, it seemed the king’s followers were gathering the Ki, or Life Energy, from human beings in order to revive him, and she needed Adrian to help her stop them.

Needless to say, the young man was rather overwhelmed and not entirely certain he wanted to be part of something that sounded like the plot to an anime...but any doubts were soon crushed as not long after, while visiting his Mom one weekend, he saw on the news his Uncle’s antique shop had been torn apart and his Uncle hospitalized.

Guilt-ridden, Adrian went to speak to his Uncle and realized that this was the doing of the demon king’s followers. As such, he knew he needed to stop them, so he made his peace with his Uncle and set out with his talking hat friend to travel the world, avenge his Uncle, and stop the Demon King’s revival.

[h3][b]FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES[/b][/h3]

[indent][u][b]FIGHTING STYLE          [/b][/u]
[indent]Eclipse’s fighting style is, for the most part, self-taught and mainly consists of quick movements and unleashing flurries of attacks thanks to the nature of their powers. Their main power is the ability to utilize a form of magical energy that allows them to “attract” and “repel” items, people, and the environment around them. Despite the rather simplistic nature of their power, they have learned to utilize it in a number of unique ways that, despite a lack of professional training, has still made them very dangerous.

[indent][ Eclipse puts out their hands and “repels” the air, releasing a steady stream of air bubbles that pack quite a punch when they hit consecutively.  Are also good for staggering a foe to lead into other attacks.

[indent][Can use the wings on their hat to hover in the air and move about freely][/indent][/indent]

[indent][Attracts light molecules before them and fires thing lasers from their fingers due to the concentrated light.][/indent][/indent]

[indent][Eclipse “attracts” their own body to the metal in the walls or the ceiling and becomes like a magnet, capable of moving along them while still attacking.][/indent][/indent]

Eclipse gathers air molecules between their hands into an orb which they then slam on the ground from mid-air, releasing a huge explosive outburst around them that is useful for putting distance between targets.][/indent][/indent]

Eclipse uses their magic to repel the light waves around them in order to vanish from sight and reappear elsewhere a few seconds later, creating the illusion of having teleported. ][/indent][/indent]

[indent][ Eclipse attracts the metal in the area to create a barricade around them that they can use to ram a target with.][/indent][/indent]

Eclipse attaches metal to their hat before launching it like a deadly disc, which can then be mentally retrieved, giving it a type of boomerang effect. Very useful for stunning targets. ][/indent][/indent]

[indent][Eclipse  whips off their hat and uses it as a vacuum to start inhaling everything around them, be it light, air, and so on. The force pulls the target towards them before being lifted high into the air where the hat discharges a huge stream of laser blasts, air bombs, and other debris to bombard the enemy relentlessly.  ][/indent][/indent]

[indent][Eclipse uses a huge amount of magical power to attract all the metal in the area into a giant sphere which they then roll on top of to crush their target before sending it flying high and then getting it to explode.  ][/indent][/indent]

[indent][Eclipse channels a large amount of energy in order to trigger a transformation into a much taller "grown up" version of themselves whom temporarily gains a considerable increase in speed, durability, and power. ][/indent][/indent]



[u][b]WEAKNESSES & LIMITS          [/b][/u]
[indent]As stated earlier, Eclipse lacks actual professional training and discipline.  Also, they are only somewhat more durable than standard humans and thus are still susceptible to damage, especially if caught in a combo attack. Their transformed state also means that they have to get close up to deal real damage to their enemies. 

Adrian has also never been the biggest fan of colder temperatures and if his hat is removed, he loses access to several of his techniques, especially their super moves. [/indent]

[h3][b]OTHER[/b][/h3]
[indent][indent] Both Adrian and Verena have a deep love of pastries and like to take naps, sometimes in the middle of the day. 

Although he doesn’t admit this out loud, Adrian hasn’t always been happy with his physical appearance, feeling like he wasn’t born right. As such, his transformation makes him feel more comfortable with himself and his insecurities.

Eclipse likes to read and is a big fan of mystery novels and anything supernatural...though both he and his partner despise the Twilight series. 

Are capable of "attracting" Ki energy in order to heal others when outside of combat though this requires intense focus.

They can alter their hair and attire on the fly to whatever they need but it is mostly cosmetic and thus useless outside of combat. They can also use their grown up form but must switch back when starting a fight to save energy.

Eclipse's hat also has the unique ability to store almost anything within it and be retrieved at a later date. [/indent][/indent]
