Magneto was having particularly bad time after being tag-teamed by Pietro and Allison, just to be utterly knocked out by Marygold and her choice weapon of a metal cabinet door. Following this, Pietro has whisked both Carolina and the vial away from Richard, leaving Nina so utterly relieved that she didn't even roll her eyes as the boy cheekily winked at her. Unfortunately, before she could deal with the Brotherhood snake before her, he had slithered away while she became distracted with Cecily being shot at, the last Maximoff sibling making a break for it. Thankfully, he didn't make it very far. "And what's to stop you harming more innocents in the pursuit of your missing sister?" She retorted, circling around his slowly to put herself between Laine and the elevator. It seemed as though the man was truly desperate in his motives, but Nina knew better than anyone that good motives didn't mean a damn when people got caught in the crossfire. While she'd been given the opportunity to redeem herself in some way, Laine was clearly unapologetic. He'd used Magneto to get information, and he'd use S.H.I.E.L.D to get information too. While it was a possibility that one day he could change, it certainly wasn't going to happen while he still sought after his sister. "Just give it up, Richard. You're surrounded, and there's nowhere to go." Her tone of voice was almost sympathetic, despite the triumph she was feeling over the team having secured the plague in enough time. Richard had just put his trust into the wrong genocidal, mutant megalomaniac.

Charlie Farrier
 [sub]Location: The Facility[/sub]

As an unfortunately familiar face appeared behind Avalanche and Toad, Charlie froze - his fingertips did too, the flames in his palms dying away as frost overtook his hands. That weird guy that had showed up after Oshea died... he was awake, and free. Did that mean Sabretooth was about to join him? Regardless of them being outnumbered, Charlie wasn't sure if he could handle seeing the animalistic mutant again. The possibility of him locking up and letting someone else die was just all too real for him. However, good news from Cassandra brought warmth flooding back to his veins, and not even grief could stop his heart leaping now. They had the virus! Suddenly, the true weight of what they had achieved came crashing down on him in relief. The amount of innocent people that could have died were now saved from Magneto's petty grudge against humankind, all thanks to the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D Agents. And all on his first mission, too! Feeling more confident now, Charlie fell into step beside Cassandra and Ayita, the latter still in her snarling tiger form. Although having pulled a face as Othello slipped away into a puff of smoke, the thought of taking these two down (And Sabretooth upstairs) was more than enough to make up for one escapee. "I suggest you listen to her, fellas. Trust me - surrender is a lot less painful than your alternative." Said with a smirk (Victory was making the usual introverted mutant quite cocky), Charlie had raised his palms as he spoke, flames beginning to flicker there. Just a little bit - to get his point across.
