[@jynmi88] While those seem like interesting things to experiment with. I think we should keep the staple Zanpakutos. Now that I [b]really[/b] think about it, changing how Zanpakutos operate seems blasphemous. 

Perhaps instead of having our "New Breed" of Shinigamis being naturally more powerful they are--like you mentioned--capable of more. Like perhaps they feel the flow of reiatsu easier or are capable of (for vague reasons) being capable of tapping into techniques like [b]Blut (quincy)[/b] or [b]Hierro (arrancar)[/b]
