A young woman comes across a stranger in a coffee shop, he seems to be down on his luck and not having a great day, in a random act of kindness she buys him a coffee/cake/something and tells him she hopes his day gets better. He is left stunned as she leaves, for unknown to her, he is not human, and among his kind, giving a gift such as this is a proposal! Now he must find his new wife and teach her about his people (demon/faerie/alien)

[hider=Monster Under My Bed]
For years she lived with a monster under her bed, or in her closet... as she grew up she stopped fearing him... because he has always protected her. Finally, she manages to get him to show himself so they can talk.

[hider=Lonely Reaper]
The reaper is lonely in his work, so many fear him and do not speak to him, one day he finds a life-size porcelain doll, perfectly painted, but ready to be thrown away due to a plague. He takes the doll and gives her life using his magic and various parts of souls. He has created the perfect companion, and does not have to be alone anymore.

Seemingly by chance, a girl comes across an antique bauble made of glass, while inspecting it, something causes it to fall and smash at her feet. Suddenly a (man/demon/creature/being) appears and looks at them in awe. They drop to their knees and thank her for freeing them, saying they will work for her now.

[hider=The Moon King]
An elven king has recently taken the night throne, he struggles with ruling the kingdom and trusts few... he finds solace in the sacred chamber of the moon pool, whereupon he can gaze into it and see the world beyond... one day, he hears a song that entrances him. Soon the time he spends at the pool grow longer, spent looking on at the life of this nightingale woman... eventually it is decided that for the kingdom to function again, someone must find the girl and bring her back.

[hider=Stone Guardian]
A warrior, proud, strong and agile, for years he protected his King, Queen and country. Never have they been defeated. Until one day, a dark power decends upon the land and sweeps through the kingdom, destroying all in it's wake. The armies of the kingdom cannot stand against them, and so the Guardian makes his last stand against the foul entitity. The battle is fierce, but ultimately he fails. 
In the last act of her life, unable to kill it, the Queen of Light uses her power to banish the evil entity into containment. She also saves her beloved knight, saving his life... but he is trapped in stone. Sleeping as a statue for centuries. 
After so long... something awakens him.
