In a mere ten minutes, the newest batch of huntsmen and huntresses would be setting foot into none other than the esteemed Beacon Academy - a name well known throughout the world of Remnant. Among the new students was a young man clad in blue and white, a peaked cap on his head and a black eyepatch concealing one of his eyes. The boy was leaning against a wall, deep in thought, though he occasionally glanced over at his fellow students. This was Kobalt Zaffre, the youngest sibling of a competitive family where proving yourself in battle was an unshakable tradition. He'd traveled to Atlas in the past to train himself... and now, he found himself heading back to familiar territory.. to none other than his home, Vale. Still leaning against the wall, Kobalt looked over at two ladies, both of them looking out the window, seemingly to marvel at the beautiful land of Vale. He couldn't help but lightly smile at this, before dispelling it as quickly as it appeared. He then tilted his cap downwards, so it rested just above his eyes. Kobalt couldn't help but eye the rest of the students, though. To put it one way, they were a colourful cast... in both senses of the word. Many of them chatted among themselves, clearly excited to meet their new colleagues and to finally reach Beacon Academy. Kobalt himself was keen to take the next step into training himself further - now as a huntsman of Beacon Academy. He knew that it would be the key to becoming the next successor of the Zaffre family. 'How long've we got until we're out of this ship, anyway...?' Kobalt thought to himself as he began to slowly tap his foot on the ground, producing a small thud each time. The airship full of new and upcoming students was just what you'd expect... noisy. And Kobalt never was particularly a fan of excess noise. 'Can't say I'm a big fan of all this standing around.' Kobalt tilted his hat even further downwards, so that it now obscured both of his eyes. He then continued the wait for the airship to arrive at Beacon Academy. So close... yet so far.
