So, I started developing this character before I knew Arjuna was actually in one of the games. But I decided to go full steam ahead anyway. My original idea was Charred Body, from several native american myths. But I couldn't find anything really interesting on him that inspired me to push forward. For obvious reasons, I may end up cutting down on Arjuna's power, since her two big noble phantasms are of the variety of "NO COUNTER ONLY DEATH NEVER MISS" special moves. I figured I'd wait till some more Servants went up so I could balance around that, but I'll balance in post.
Servant CS True Name: Arjuna Aliases: Always wins in war, Triumphant, One who brings prosperity and wealth in the land where she goes to. Class: Archer Gender: Female Height: 6'0 Weight: 125lbs Alignment: Lawful Wish for the Grail: Arjuna's wish is to face the challenge of reaching heaven once more. A trip that killed her the first time, and one that she refuses to accept as her final fight. Personality: Pride. Pride in ones skills from success after success plagues Arjuna. Considered once upon a time to be the pride of her kingdom, and the middle child of five siblings. She was never 2nd best, and her pride stems from all this. This pride taints all that Arjuna is, and she defies destiny and fate often. When faced against a superior opponent, albiet rare, Arjuna has not shied away from cheating or underhanded tactics to even the odds. Arjuna's tendency to cheat is a prime example of how she views the world. Merely as a string of opportunities to benefit her. From there, her power comes in taking advantage of each opportunity. Amongst people, Arjuna is fairly polite. But possessing a sharp tongue and intolerance for mockery. Often times she will find her worthy opponent, and focus most if not all of her effort into overwhelming, or defeating that worthy opponent. If she finds nothing of the sort, she will be quickly bored by the exchanges. And a bored Arjuna may be the hardest for a Master to control, since she isn't nearly as reliant on her Master as other Servants often are. Background: Long ago, there was a god named Indra, and a queen of a far off Kingdom. She was gifted with the ability to summon gods, so that she could sleep with them, and give birth to powerful children. On the third time she did this, she summoned the highest of gods, Indra. Who brought rain and life. This child, as some stories will claim was a son by the name of Arjuna. This is false. For Arjuna was a daughter, and far more powerful than many would claim. The middle child of 5 siblings, they often played together. Until one day they lost their ball to a well, and while her brothers gave the ball up for lost, Arjuna did not. As she attempted to pull the ball out of the well, a stranger arrived, and pulled it out with a magical chain. This man became her teacher, and he was the great hero Drona. Drona trained all five of the royal children, but he took great interest in Arjuna, who proved to be the greatest of them. Archery was considered the most holy of skills, and Arjuna took to it naturally. Her skill was beloved by even the gods, who would watch as she trained. But her childhood would not last, as her eldest sibling fell prey to the greatest of tragedies. Gambling. Arjuna's eldest siblings was conned into a gambling game. In which he offered away all of his gold, his weapons, his kingdom, and the freedom of his siblings. Instead of being a slave, a deal was struck where Arjuna and her siblings would go into exile for thirteen years, and eventually return to become rulers of their kingdom. During those thirteen years, Arjuna became a legend. She fought the god Shiva, and became master of all Astras (Holy Weapons.) Then alongside Agni, she burned a forest, and was gifted the bow Gandiva, a chariot, and a set of inexhaustible quivers. And later, with the Pashupatastra after studying with Lord Shiva. Eventually it became time to return to her kingdom, but she was met with Karna. Karna and his siblings refused to return the throne to Arjuna's family, and a great war was waged. Arjuna arrived on the field in a chariot, and Karna the same. Both wielding powerful gifts from the gods, and weapons of their own design. The duels between them took many lives, and Arjuna finally met with Karna for a final battle. Karna's wheel broke in the middle of the fight, causing his chariot to crash. Pleading with Arjuna to give him time to fix his wheel, he set to work on it. But... Their battle was not evenly matched. For Karna had been given far more powerful gifts than Arjuna, and the harsh battle would soon turn against her. While Karna fixed his wheel, Arjuna lined up her shot, and pierced his heart with a single arrow. With Karna dead, Arjuna went on to rule her kingdom for many years. Until finally, in pilgrimage to the land of the gods, she left with her siblings. Arjuna's confidence was her downfall. So sure of her strength, she ended up succumbing to the bitter cold and died on the way to heaven. Unable to reach heaven, she was filled with a great grief. Until the day of the Holy Grail War, and she was summoned. Stats: Strength: C Endurance: D Agility: B Magical Energy: B Luck: C Noble Phantasm: A+ Class Skills: - Independent Action A+: Arjuna can act independently from her master for long periods of time. To an extent where once summoned, she only needs her Master around for the magical supply needed to use her Noble Phantasms. Even then, only the higher rank ones. - Magic Resistance C: Basic magical attacks have lesser effects on Arjuna. - Riding C: Arjuna rides primarily upon her chariot, but maintains little control of it otherwise. This skill merely allows her to continue to fight unhindered no matter how bumpy the road may be. Personal Skills: - She Who Has Bested Sleep C: Arjuna has faced sleep, and has won in battle. As such, her stamina is endless and she will never need to rest. Thus inexhaustible, she will fight for days or even years without need to stop. - Divinity B+: Arjuna is the child of Indra, and thus is divine. Against other divines she shows an increased resistance to those of lesser divinity. Against those with no Divinity, she deals extra damage, but shows no improved resistance. - Weapon Mastery C+: Trained in all of the celestial weapons by Shiva, Arjuna has a mastery of all forms of combat and weaponry. But prefers her traditional bow and arrow. - Collector C: Arjuna possesses a great deal of treasures and Astras. Gifts from gods, allies, and enemies. She continued to collect well into life, and up to her demise. - Ambidexterous D: Arjuna can shoot from either hand, allowing for just a tad more dexterity in combat. Combat Capabilities: As the archer class, Arjuna uses a bow almost exclusively. Often utilizing her noble phantasms to keep on the move, she is primarily a long range combatant who fights from her chariot. Used to fighting armies and even the great Karna, Arjuna seems to never tire, and can fight for extended periods of time and never rest. Arjuna's reliance on range makes close range combat difficult. Relying on her noble phantasms to cover that weakness, or simply relying on a sheer output of arrows and phantasms to counter any obvious movements or unwanted approaches. Noble Phantasms:
Name: Pashupatastra Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Creation Description: The Pashupatastra is a gift from Shiva. A weapon to be fired from the mind, eyes, or bow. It is capable of destroying all things, and there is nothing that can stop that. It is a perfect, instant killing attack. If you are struck, you are dead. But the weapon is to be used against great foes. Lesser men or meaningless tasks that do not require this weapon are meaningless. As such, the Pashupatastra can only be used against other Servants, or those of incredible power. To use this against anything lesser would do nothing, as the weapon sees the worth of those it is used against, and refuses to work against those of little value. The attack itself is fairly obvious. Making it nearly useless for stealth. But once fired from the bow, it travels instantly from point A to point B. Making it the ultimate long range attack. Name: Brahmashira Astra Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Fortress Description: It begins with the mantra, and then the skies darken. The sky then explodes with thunder that rumbles the earth and shatters stone. From the tip of an arrow appears the four faces of Brahma, and whatever the arrows hits is destroyed. No rain shall fall for 12 years, and no blade of grass will grow for that same time. Metal and earth become poisoned, and all who traverse there shall fall ill. This is Arjuna's gift, and unlike the Pashupatastra it does not require a holy purpose. It will never miss its mark, and the user must focus on their target and task. Any distraction may result in their failure with this technique. It can be used only once in a lifetime, and as a result can be used only once during the Grail War. As a result, it is the most powerful and risky of Arjuna's techniques. It is said that only thing that can counter the Brahmashira Astra is another noble phantasm of equal destructive power. Name: Indraastra Rank: B Type: Anti-Army Description: A shower of arrows are summoned forth from the sky. Liked to rain, there is little that can hope to avoid a shower of arrows, due to the sheer spread of this powerful noble phantasm. This was taught to Arjuna by her father, the great Indra and while nowhere near the most powerful Noble Phantasm, is designed for countering an army, and turning the tide of any war. Name: Celestial Chariot Rank: C Type: Fortress Description: While not a literal fortress like many others, the Chariot of Hanuman and Krishna was gifted to Arjuna. Upon it, Arjuna can ride through a battle, attacking enemies from the sheltered defense it provides. It is said that this chariot carries the weight of the world, and cannot be forced of its course by normal means. Through this chariot, Arjuna does not need to move, but rather can focus entirely on her target. Name: Gandiva Rank: B+ Type: Anti-Unit Description: Gandiva is the legendary bow wielded by Arjuna. Gifted to her by Agni after clearing a forest for him, this bow is considered the most powerful of all. With 108 strings, it is said to increase the power of a single shot by over 1000 times, and shines brightly like the sun each time it is fired. It is considered one of the greatest weapons ever crafted, and each time a string is pulled it lets out a deep rumble like thunder. The bow itself is said to be divine, and thus invincible. Along with Gandiva, Arjuna carries two quivers, that will never run dry of arrows as blessed by the great god Agni. Through this bow, Arjuna can rapid fire arrows using the 108 strings and her inexhaustible supply of arrows. The rate at which was once recorded as five hundred arrows a minute. As a weapon once wielded by Vishnu, Shiva, and many other great warriors of legend, it can be difficult to pin it specifically to Arjuna. But as Arjuna is one of the greatest to ever wield it, it shines brightest in her hands. Name: Sabda-veda astra Rank: E Type: Anti-Thaumaturgy Description: A fairly simple charm, in the shape of a bell. When rung, it denies all stealth, revealing hidden enemies. Its clear purpose is to deny others the chance to hide from Arjuna's sight, and was a gift from Krishna. Arjuna and Krishna are the only people who know of the bell's existence. Name: Jyotiksha Astra Rank: E Type: Anti-Sight Description: The Jyotiksha Astra is a fairly simple noble phantasm. Its use is that it is a mask, and when worn shines like the sun. All who look upon it are temporarily blinded, making them easy prey for Arjuna. Name: Agneya astra Rank: A Type: Anti-Army Description: A holy fire contained in an arrow. This arrow releases a torrent of flames blessed by the god Agni, and were inexhaustible by normal means. The flames burning force is connected to Arjuna's mana supply, and is exhausted when Arjuna chooses to cease the flow of energy. Unless stopped, the flames will continue to burn, putting a tax on Arjuna's Mana supply over time. Name: Sammohana Astra Rank: D Type: Anti-Army Description: Less of an offensive Noble Phantasm, and more of a support item. Used to quell those of lesser wills, it can send the unexpected into a trance. This Astra does not harm, but instead can quell an army long enough for them to be bypassed.

If Arjuna ends up not working, I have a second character plotted.
