[color=8dc73f]Personality:[/color] Seemingly the stoic, silent type, she was more shy than anything else, unable to really muster up the courage to speak to more than one person at a time. Even then she would just as likely to deflate trying to speak to them. However, this did not mean she was submissive when it came to something she believed in, being rather headstrong if she truly believed in something, nor will she simply give up if she believed she needed to do something. A headstrong, but rather shy person, this would inevitably mean she tends to run off on her own. This did not mean she was averse to cooperating with another however, just that she finds it hard to even speak to people. If she truly needed to, she can and will work as best she could with another, though she still might find it hard to even speak to them.

[color=8dc73f]Strengths:[/color] Her family focuses mostly on formalcrafts, and as such could enact vastly superior rituals and circles with far less resources than most other families, as well as having a very wide array of rituals to choose from. Due to her drawing using her prana for the rituals that needed an actual magic circles, her control on her magecraft, prana and her magic circuits was exceptional.

[color=8dc73f]Weaknesses:[/color] While being from an old family, her circuits weren't really anything spectacular, being just above average. As a family that focused mostly on formal crafts, beyond the basics, she had no real large thaumaturgies she could really cast. While she could use reinforcement, she wasn't really great in close range considering she didn't learn any sort of martial art in detail.

[color=8dc73f]Background:[/color] She comes from modern times, after the 5th Grail War, though Frederica knows nothing of it, considering it wasn't an important ritual as far as the Clock Tower was concerned. Her family had always been the reclusive types, though they were known to the Mage's Association, thus she had lived in Germany for as long as she knew, learning her family's secrets and memorizing all the different rituals, the techniques involved in the rituals themselves and even how to condense them. They believed that some day they will be able to reach the Root should they manage to fabricate a ritual that allowed them to do so.

Considering her family's goals, she did not really engage in anything much that was exciting, like a mage versus mage duel and the likes, until Executors came to her place hunting Dead Apostles. Even then, her involvement in the incident was limited to sheltering the Executors and devising traps for them to use. 

Perhaps it was just as well, for she, like most of her family, had no real interest in getting involved with the politics of the outside world, much less  the politics going on in the Mages' Association. 

Even so, she did have to fend off would be thieves every now and then, though 'fend off' may be too strong a choice in words, considering her bounded fields and numerous traps set through her magic circles did most of the work. It was because of the golden branch with seven gems upon it, said to the a Hourai Branch. It came into her family a long time ago, bought from a Dutch sailor for a princely sum, and had remained in their possession ever since.

[color=8dc73f]Abilities:[/color] She has exceptional talent in art as well as a very good memory, allowing her to draw accurately any sort of landscapes she had seen. While her athleticism leaves much to be desired, she was quick of wit and observant of her surrounding. Her cooking ability extends as far as instant ramen and boiling water; it is akin to a disaster should she be asked to make anything more complex than that. 

[color=8dc73f]Thaumaturgies:[/color] A variety of Formalcrafts, ranging from ones passed down and recorded from ancient times to ones the Bernstein family had developed themselves. A simple one could simply be taking a bundle of hair, invoking a name and blowing upon them, while the more complex can take up to a day in incantation alone. One of her best rituals involves absorbing all the prana in the environment and amplify it for further use, depending on what else she drew upon the circle. More often than not, she would usually use that to power something else, though that was rare, considering her relatively peaceful life.

[color=8dc73f]Personal Effects:[/color] She has a Mateba revolver, some .454 ammo for it, a few small bundles of hair, black etching talons, silver feathers, small pebbles, small bones, and generally a lot of ritualistic items.

[color=8dc73f]Mystic Codes:[/color] A family heirloom, the Hourai Branch - Perhaps not actually a branch from the mythical land of Hourai, it certainly did look the part, having golden branches, and 7 different colored gems hanging upon it like small fruits. Despite looking frail, the 12 inch branch possesses unusual resilience as well as the flexibility of an actual live branch. It seemed to generate mana by its own, storing it in the gems, each glowing gently as it filled with mana. Stuck into a tree, it would instead turn that tree into a sort of a leyline. Of course, normal trees do not usually act as leylines, and thus that tree will die within two days. However, ancient trees could be used indefinitely. When used by a magus, the mana stored within can be used as they see fit. Frederica uses it to make different colored lines for her magic circles.[/hider]
