Background: Marcus son of Salazarr Corliss was born into this world without a mother. Camilla Corliss was killed shortly after the birth of Marcus, as payment for her disgraced name. Camilla had been unfaithful and her death was the only way for the Cornelius family to be at peace.

Growing up It had become very clear that Marcus would take his father's place as head of the family, his physical ability and mental ability were developing faster than most children. By the age of 9 Marcus had killed his first human under the supervision of his father, the thirst for blood was overwhelming.


By the age of 16 Marcus was offered a young women to be his wife, this was meant to be a unification of the Corliss and Mortiss family. Defying his father's wishes Marcus refused to be married saying that he was to young. 

For the next few years the family were offered different brides for Marcus all of which he was not interested in. Although he wanted to find someone whom he cared for none of them were good enough. This carried on for years and over time Marcus became numb to the offers.

A few hundred years later Marcus decided that he had finally become tired of the constant pestering for marriage. One evening during a family meeting Marcus packed his things and decided to move away from his family obligations.[/hider]
