Species: Exo-morph. Exo-morphs are a species of shape shifting insectoid beings. They are rare among the races that inhabit Ring city and are common targets for xenophobes and racists due to their appearance. This is a major part of why they are so rare.

Appearance: Miteossa has a few forms her body can take due to her natural shape shifting ability.

Miteossa's scarab form is a large, aggressive looking form covered in an armored shell and armed with six bladed arms. These blade arms usually have primitive 3 fingered hands on them rather than the blades because of the laws surrounding Exo-morphs. This form stands at 223.8cm tall and weighs roughly 200Kgs. This is her most common used form at the current time. This form is incredibly durable, able to take anything from bats and crowbars to 9mm bullets without suffering much damage. It is also very strong capable of lifting around 1800kgs (think average modern car). The main drawback of this form is it's speed, it cannot run and it's jumping ability is limited.

Miteossa's bee form is a smaller but still aggressive looking form. It's most noticeable features are it's wings and the striking yellow, black stripes. It also has hands that can be changed out for massive poisonous barbs (it's nothing lethal just a low strength paralytic poison. A tenacious or larger human could withstand it). This form can also fly short distances, jump effectively and run at a below average speed. This form is far more fragile than any of the other forms, while still being tougher than a humans squishy body. This for is also the smallest standing at 140cm and weighing 32.7kgs. It's physical abilities are similar to an average human.

Miteossa's Centipede form is easily her largest one, being a little over 6 meters long. The torso of this form stands about 183cm and boasts a developed set of arms, if not for the elongated body this would be Miteossa's mote used form. The armor on this form is only slightly less durable than that of the Scarab form, but the larger body allows it to take a great deal more damage. Even so this form lacks the intense strength of the Scarab form but it can still lift a good 272kgs. The form also has a multitude of legs that are all equipped climbing hairs allowing this form to clamber up walls and most other surfaces. This form being the largest means it clocks in at 300kgs, so it can't hang from a ledge using only its arms and would require some of its legs to assists.

This is a form Miteossa doesn't yet have access to, although she very much wants it. This form is intended to help her blend int and interact with people in ways she can't with her other forms. This for varies in height from 150cm to 220cm, The height is taken from the previous form which is why the height varies. In this for she is about twice as strong as a human of equal size and much more tough. Aside from enhanced strength and durability she is basically a human.

Personality: Miteossa is unusually timid Exo-morph, she is very conscious about how people see her and is constantly trying to improve how the general populace perceive her. She is shy as a button easily getting embarrassed and flustered. She is also as gentle as a snowflake hardly ever getting angry or aggressive in any kind of altercation, violence is not Miteossa's stick. And deep down she is a hopeless romantic wanting someone to love, but feeling she's too ugly for that to ever happen.

Power: Like all Exo-morphs Miteossa has the ability to transform her body, but this is not as straight forward as it sounds. Exo-morphs require a through understanding if a creatures DNA to even consider attempting to mimic it, and the only way for them to properly understand the DNA is to consume fresh samples of it. This is most commonly done by consuming the flesh of a freshly killed creature. And the way the Exo-morph uses the DNA is internally different per individual, two Exo-morphs might both make spider like forms on focusing on the legs and the other on the ability to spin webs thus vastly changing the appearance of said Exo-morphs.

The transformations themselves also take time, the Exo-morph having to create a sort of soft bodied cocoon to stage their transformation, this takes a good 10 minutes and they are normally exhausted and hungry when they emerge. This ability was used to adapt to environments by consuming the largest most dangerous animals and altering themselves accordingly. The cocoons are always filled with a slightly acidic substance meant to deter attackers from breaking them.

The can make slight edits to the forms they teach their bodies such as replacing claws with hands and increasing the size of different body parts to suit the needs. Anything from making their eyes bigger to shrinking their legs, but this requires more time and is usually avoided.
