[indent]The granddaughter of the Scarlet Empress through her daughter Mnemon, it bears no surprise that Shuozhen has inherited the appearance of her forebears. Shuozhen is shorter than her fraternal twin sister, Karilis, though the differences tend to stop at their height and fashion sense. Shuozhen’s hair runs as hot as her forebears, though the time where she [i]cared[/I] about her appearance has long since passed. Instead of wearing her hair prim, proper, and free-flowing it is now drawn into disorderly twin strands – though Shuozhen has considered in the recent weeks if it would be just wiser to just be done with it and take the sword to her hair. [indent]Unsurprisingly, Shuozhen doesn’t have many possessions. In fact, the only thing she has not parted with from her time at the imperial capital is her sword – or more specifically, a reaper daiklave that was given to her directly by her mother as a reward for being dutiful to the weapon arts.[/indent]

[indent][b]Sword Expertise:[/b] Shuozhen has been trained as a duelist in the weapon arts since she showed interest at a young age. This is noteworthy as she has defeated taller and stronger opponents based on skill alone. This is largely due to the numerous competitive bouts Shuozhen was forced to endure as a child against her taller and equally as capable sister.

[indent]Whereas her sister runs hot with strong emotional impulses, Shuozhen is the direct opposite. In fact, Shuozhen doesn’t like conversation in the slightest and often approaches conversations with the mindset that less is more; choosing her words as carefully as she draws her sword, but decisively so. Many people have considered Shuozhen “cold”, some of which amongst her own dynast. But as cold, distant, and ruthless as Shuozhen may appear this much is not the case. In fact, Shuozhen cares much of the plight of others and has taken to heart codes of fair play, honor, and just cause when she looks at a situation. In fact, she cares so much for others that she values their lives over her own to the point of selflessness. Shuozhen does not understand or empathize with people who are callous, manipulative, and wroth; especially to those who have nothing and cannot protect themselves. These are ideals she came to have by her own free will and are part of the reason she became disenfranchised from her peers within the nobility and bureaucracy. [/indent]
