"I like your name as well, it suits you." He was starting to feel comfortable talking with Dawn, there was something about her that he liked. He had never acquainted a mage before and to think of that would have been highly absurd if he were still living in his lake. He listened intently as she explained the nature of her being, having little experience with magic that wasn't glamour, this was all very new to him. When she displayed her abilities, he watched with intrigue. The girl became a creature of shade, fading in and out of his vision. She even gave him a cheeky wave before reappearing in her proper place, he was almost delighted enough to applaud her. Almost. She had managed to reign a smile out of him, a real one. It was odd to see it surface so suddenly, replacing his complacent frown. He had teeth that were just a bit too sharp. "That was-" he froze mid-sentence, seeming to try to form a word that wouldn't come. "That was-" He made a vague motion with his hands, one that seemed to attempt to portray wonder or amazement. He was about to try to speak again when the pegasus approached them, greeting them and dipping her head to them. He swallowed thickly as he looked at the white horse-like creature, noting how polar opposite they were to one another. She was pristine, almost ethereal, truly a beautiful example of power and grace. His horse form would have looked like it had crawled from a bog in comparison to her. Normally, this would have sparked some sort of nasty response from him. Self hatred made him act like a boggard at times. He restrained himself to a stiff nod of recognition. "Celestia," he greeted, her name was foreign on his tongue. "I'm Isaiah." He could feel his left pinkie finger start to tingle, a sensation that he'd normally associate with the pins and needles of glamour. Except, this was glamour being stripped away, forcefully pulled from his flesh as his body noticed the growing absence of water. More of his human skin was starting to die. That was just great. Just what he needed, more rot. "We were just discussing powers and the like. I don't believe I've ever met a pegasus."
