    Surprisingly enough, Rayla spoke in a rather solemn voice, as if she had realized something after seeing Marina's book and the kind of magic and technology it possessed. A terrible image from the past was flashing through her mind once more.

Ted: Rayla? What are you talking about?

Rayla: Right...Let me tell you the reason of why I believe her. Several years ago, I used to hang out with my friends at the lone tree in the grasslands. One day, these strange creatures appeared out of some portals above us...And they've devoured my friends.

Rayla: I managed to awaken my powers in time to save myself...At the time, nobody believed my story and declared that my friends went missing. Years later, and the central part of this city was overrun by the same monsters that attacked my friends. That area had to be isolated. From what I've heard, they can't keep those monsters captured for too long, they simply summon a portal and leave. I didn't want to believe it because it sounded plain crazy...but I've came to the conclusion that they do come from another world or dimension...
