When, int he history of ever, had a nuke solved problems, or been necessary? Whether in history with Hiroshima, or in media with various monster movies, nuking just did nothing but make innocent people suffer, and the real problem didn't actually go away. As orders were given and Jade Cornish disappeared from the call, Alec was eager to input his own (Likely irrelevant and under-ranked) opinion on using nukes. I.E: It was a shitty idea. Unfortunately, their entire person of topic made an appearance herself, and Alec's blood ran cold. By sheer luck - or perhaps the Goddess simply didn't care - his presence on the monitor in O.M.E.N headquarters went unnoticed as Hel began her massacre. Glued to his seat by sheer fright, Alec could feel the other agents around him watching on in horror as their superiors, and possibly friends, were slaughtered by the Nordic deity. As she spoke to a seemingly lone survivor off-screen somewhere, Alec realised he had been holding his breath only when it was released as she vanished. There was silence in the cabin of the plane, and Alec slowly rose to his feet, visibly shaking as he draw a hand across his face. The biggest defence the country had against Hel, decimated in seconds. As the screen switched off, he looked to the pale faces of the O.M.E.N Agents before him. Part of him wanted to apologise for their loss, but words wouldn't help them now, and for some reason, sympathy seemed like it would ring hollow in this circumstance. As if it wouldn't mean anything. "Cornish won't know." He finally managed to choke out after several moments of silence. The Brit had switched off before Hel even appeared, so she could be walking into just about anything with this scientist lass. "We need to get to Boston, asap. Maybe... maybe you guys could head the FBI office there. I don't know if you have any other offices across the country, but after this... they could help you out." It wasn't much, but he wondered if they'd be too shell-shocked to really know what to do. As far as they were aware, the three O.M.E.N agents on the plane with him could be the last ones alive.
