Name: Iwakuni Shiroko

Age: 55 Appears to be 16 or 17

Personality: Shiroko is a shy girl who has a hard time raising her voice and often people talk over her. However though she speaks softly she has a sharp tongue and has great observation skills. She often comes off as cold but its mostly just her inability to connect well with others. 

Backstory:  (its cool if I add more later yeah?) Shiroko grew up in the rukongai. She doesn't really remember her life when she was alive as a human but she knew she died relatively young. Because of her white hair and yellow eyes she was seen as a bad omen and never found a family that became a permanent home. She had more spiritual power than the majority of people around her which caused its own set of problems. 

The first and most important problem is that she absorbs reishi at a much faster rate than other people and this causes fatigue in weaker subjects around her. The stable spiritual bodies of shinigami won't even feel the effect but prolonged exposure from the frail human souls of the rukongai have long term negative effects. This has caused her to be a bit of a pariah. The strength of her soul alone was enough to be problematic but the fact she drains from the area around her makes it far worse. Not to mention she has an insatiable appetite. 


Strengths/ Weaknesses: She has incredible spiritual perception. She constantly feels the energy of those around her as she absorbs it in minute amounts. She can sense at long distances accurately and in short distances she doesn't even need her other senses to fight opponents. The side effect of this ultra-precise sense is that compounts with her already talented bakudo skills to make her far more effective than others. Her spells themselves aren't more powerful but its how she is able to use them that makes them more powerful. 

Her hado is passable and her primary way of fighting offensively. Her kenjutsu skills are terrible as her body is naturally frail. Same with her taijutsu with the exception of jujitsu style binding techniques. Again her talent for finding where and how to apply pressure is second to none. 

One last note is that her kaido is weak. She naturally absorbs reishi from people and so the gentle nature of pouring reishi into someone else is so counter to her nature that she has a hard time doing it unless she does it through her shikai. Even then she isn't anywhere near on the same level as 4th squad. 

Zanpakuto

Name: Benzaiten

Release Command: Bind 

Shikai Appearance: The shikai is a series of chains that connect to both of her hands with a ring on each finger. The chains can generate more links as needed within limit of course. The connected portions look like the following.

Shikai Ability: Binding. Pretty simple. She is able to wrap the chains around her foes and bind both their movements and their spiritual powers. 

Techniques: 
Chain Wrap Binding Seal- Her most basic form her sword's form. She wraps her chains around the foe to bind their physical movements. 

Kodama (echo)- This allows her to sacrifice some links of her chains to reform her zanpakuto in its sealed form to give her a katana weapon. This weapon has no special abilities and exists physically disconnected from the rest of the chains. It simply allows her to have a weapon since her chains have no edge in order to attack with. 

Denso-ji (link/transmission line)- She is able to cast her healing and binding spells through the chains to multiple targets at once rather than having to heal or bind one at a time.
