Whether this was spurred by her work helping young children learn how to swim or not is uncertain, but Aimee is someone always willing to help someone should they need it. Despite the fast-paced adventures of crime fighting, Aimee prefers to take things slow and cautious to ensure everything was covered and everyone is safe from harm. On a fateful day, however, a wave swept away Aimee, and she had to be resuscitated by the lifeguards on duty. Rather than being scared of going back in the water as most children her age would be, Aimee had taken an interest in the lifeguards that saved her, which later led to Aimee applying for a part-time course to help the lifeguards teach young children to swim.[/color][/indent]

Her brother, having graduated the academy and joined the local police force, made sure Aimee knew basic self-defense--his own precaution to ensure his younger sister could keep herself safe in a city known for crime. Additionally, Jake had also given Aimee had a pair of handcuffs and a stun gun as a form of backup should her martial training fail, which she carries around in her bag.[/color][/indent]

As a final note, her superhero outfit also includes a portable headset, which Aimee can use to contact others with her cellphone, and a pair of goggles to protect her eyes from any projectiles.
