[@Rune_Alchemist] Ralia went and tilted her head at Infernape. Infernape, still with arms crossed, looked right back down at the little psychic fairy with a passive look. Ralia felt that there was a certain amount of relief on the Infernape’s mind, like a great tension had suddenly been released. Oh, and Ralia could sense a couple of young, innocent-feeling looks from further ahead. Peeking past a corner… Pokédex Entry #390 – Chimchar, the Chimp Pokémon. A gas burns in its stomach that fuels the flame behind it, which is extremely difficult to put out except for when it puts out its own flames to protect its surroundings while asleep. It lives on craggy mountains, using its agility and grip to scale sheer cliffs and walls. … Was a couple of heads, that had a particular relation to this Infernape. Suffice to say, had Maple and Ellyn’s journey reached much further, it may also have abruptly ended at the hands of a protective parent. Meanwhile, Claire was announcing her challenge. Anise grinned, while Ellyn raised her eyebrows a little in surprise. ‘Wait, you’re gonna wrestle a-!?’ Maple sounded out in amazement looking at Claire from somewhat behind, still surrounded by her fire Pokémon. Pangoro, of course, heard her. He munched a bit on the leaf in his mouth, glaring at her while all the “henchmen” tried to copy him, one which accidentally bit apart his leaf and is now panicking. Then… Pangoro grinned. ‘Goro!’ He shouted out, jumping forward to meet Claire, large arms held wide in order to wrestle her. Now, seeing how Pokédex entries tell that Pangoros are strong enough to “send a dump truck flying”, there is likely no discussion about which of the two is the stronger. That said, Pangoro here understood the meaning of fun. Now, do you want to do this the long version, or the short version?
Tumble, tussle, roll and fumble. While Pangoro’s far stronger than Claire, she’s used to this sort of thing and can pull tricks to outmaneuver the giant panda. However, Pangoro here’s an experienced player of the game, often having wrestled other Pokémon of the mountain and caught on soon enough. After some rolls on the ground, Claire would inevitably find herself on the ground pinned, though she may have put up quite the fight before that point. Pangoro would definitely have fun.

Pangoro went forth, arms wide to meet Claire head on. However, we was leaving rather large gaps for her to slip through, probably intentionally because he’s so far stronger than a human. Would this be a mistake he’d live to regret? Or would she meet his contest of strength? How does Claire counter?
__________________________ [@Pikmin Eye] Martin pulled the keycard on the door, and a green light lit. The door opened.

Factory Base
In what clearly should be an abandoned factory, a base has been established. Old machines tinker and toll, the sounds echoing through the corridors of a tight and empty-feeling base. High to the top yet tight between walls, machines of different kinds adorning the sides serving who knows what purpose, seemingly every door needs a keycard to pass. Sunlight peeks down through the window ceiling, making one question where exactly in the relatively sun-less Industrial District this is supposed to be. What secrets lies behind these walls? … Well, if you’re not afraid of delving in where you do not belong, then perhaps you can find out. Martin finds himself in an empty, large room. There are no people in his immediate vicinity, but judging by the jackets hanging on the hanger to his right, clearly someone’s here somewhere. This looks like a potential lounge, with sofas and tables to sit around… except… there’s nobody here, and the grey walls and sounds of machinery makes for an altogether unpleasant experience. Fortunately, there does seem to be some directions placed on the walls. Unfortunately, almost every door around him needs a keycard. His doesn’t work. Left is a healing station for healing Pokémon, with two beds in the smaller room. Huh. To the right is a larger steel door which the signs call “production area”. Martin’s keycard won’t give him access there. Ahead of him is a corridor, leading with two doors on either side before meeting a t-crossway in the end. Left is “Laboratory”, right is unmarked. Martin’s keycard opens neither. Towards the end of the corridor, in the t-cross, there are once again pointing. To the right is the stairs down, leading to Storage, Testing Area and Underground. To the left, Sleeping Quarters and Offices… and voices. From within an opened door to the left there can be heard people talking. Two older, calmer individuals and one young male clearly agitated voice. Martin could choose to eavesdrop, but not without potential risk of being noticed. What would Martin do? Green is exit. Blue is doors you can go through. Red is inaccessible doors. Chansey is a healing station. The voices come from the blue door in the top-left. The stairs down is the blue door in top-right.
__________________________ [@Pirouette] With great interest, Joshua listened to the story which Erika found it in herself to tell him. At the end of it, he was smiling widely and looked pretty happy. ‘I see~ Well, I am honored you’d share such a story with me,’ Joshua said and tipped his headphones. ‘Hm. Sno’s your first Pokémon, received by Kalmia, right? … Did she know?’ Joshua asked with a smirk as he looked at her. ‘I actually have a similar story, just a little in reverse. Want to hear it?’
Once when Joshua was young, his family took him to the Pokémon Park to the west of Justroad City. That was simply a vacation-like visit of the family, because the Pokémon Park is a friendly place. … Except tiny and endlessly curious Joshua ran through a hole in the hedge and his parents didn’t notice until he was gone out of sight. Because he was really young, Joshua doesn’t actually remember that much of what happened other than very vague memories, but apparently he was gone for days and a search was sent underway. There was a young boy working at the Park that had dutifully joined in with searching for the missing boy. A Pokémon, a Ralts, that suddenly appeared in front of him gestured them to follow, which was rare because of how shy Ralts usually are. So, he was guided to where young Joshua had become friends with basically the entire fairy and mouse Pokémon population, becoming the young prince of Pokémon Park and playing with them and eating berries alongside them, until some of the Pokémon thought it was time for him to go home. Joshua didn’t want to go home at all, but then the other boy offered that he could come back whenever he wished. After all, young Ewan worked there, he could make sure young Joshua was safe while frolicing in the Park. Joshua had been touched, and declared they’d be best friends forever. ‘And, well, that’s still working out, isn’t it?’ Joshua chuckled. ‘Unfortunately, I grew up more as a normal street kid than a magical Pokémon prince with a special connection to Pokémon from then on out. Still, I’ve always found it easy to connect to Pokémon somehow, I go off on my own and Ewan had to reign me in. Guess my story had a different purpose than yours. Besides, it’s fine if I’m not a fairy tale prince. I can be a prince for whoever wants me to be~’
Then Joshua could go off with a wave, and Erika could look after her current team before heading to rest. Then, in the morning, Erika woke up and could head for the Miner’s Shop to see what’s new. ‘Good morning, Erika! Sleep well?’ Isaac asked her. ‘Today’s not as amazing as yesterday yet, but still pretty good. ‘Oh! This is… a Bug Gem! Do you know of these gems, Erika?’ Here’s an explanation anyway. ‘If a Pokémon holding a type gem uses a move that’s the same type as the gem, they can use the energy of the gem to make their move magnificently more powerful! This expands the gem, though, making it useless, a grey husk. It’s a bit frowned upon to use them in official battles for a power-boost, but while exploring as a Pokémon Trainer they can help you out in a pinch! Oh, and some collectors would pay a handsome sum for them, if you can find them. Plenty of collectors in Freecape Town…’ So Isaac told. Anyways. She could finish up her task there and then get going. She could now do as she liked. She’s still in the Frozen Cave Mines.
Erika went out on Route 5 seeking her way to Stillwood, but encountered a number of trainers on the way. First, there was a young woman walking southward with a purpose, but she could be easily distracted for a moment. Vast Plains indeed, the best cover is the fact that the route is not entirely flat so you you can theoretically hide behind a hill. Not really given much reason to bother with them, except for a Tyrunt that momentarily stopped and stared at them curiously, the ancient Pokémon kept on running. There were numerous slams of combat from within the sandstorm, and then a Whirlwind from Pidgeot sent the sand scattering around. The dissipating sand revealed that Hippowdon had dug down into the ground again and escaped as it came under fire, but the chaos it had caused was definite. Amelia had attempted to look at the trainer. It was a woman, blonde hair, wearing white… but she couldn’t see that much from over here. The driver, a man in a brown coat wearing glasses, spun to look at anyone present, which was more than just Dawkin and Amelia due to being on the road to Raremine Town now. ‘Trainers! Stop those Pokémon!’ He called. His Bronzong had captured quite a few with Psychic abilities, and having dealt with the Hippowdon the Yanmega, Rapidash and Pidgeot once again took off in different direction, using speed, fire and wind to discourage escape by the fleeing ancient Pokémon. From having been hidden underground, multiple Pokémon suddenly sprung forth from under the ground. Sandshrews showed up and grabbed onto Anorith and Archen, more than one on each, with the occasional Sandslash mixed in to take Tyrunts. Drilburs showed up trying to dig holes for the ancient Pokémon to fall into, while two Diggersby grabbed onto the heads of Craniados with each hand, trying to pull them under. Pokédex Entry #27 – Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokémon. It uses its claws to dig rapidly and climb trees. It wields these claws to cut at opponents with great skill. Its spines and claws often break from hard use, but they grow back within a day. Pokédex Entry #529 – Drilbur, the Mole Pokémon. They and Excadrills dig out mazelike nests underground in which they live. It uses its ears, which are strong enough to reduce bedrock to rubble, to dig its way through the earth. With its ears being able to lift tons of weight, they’re often employed around construction sites and is to great help. It is, however, known for lounging lazily for hours at a time. These Ground-Pokémon had all struck more or less at once, they couldn’t time it perfectly, and they all fought to grab the ancient Pokémon and pull them into the holes they had created. Now, it didn’t always go perfectly, the ancient Pokémon saw no desire to be pulled into holes and resisted, but a ground-type’s advantage over rock-type was mostly apparent, and this was an exercised plan. ‘NO! STOP THEM!’ The driver shouted upon seeing what happened. His and the trainer’s Pokémon were effective where they were, striking away the Ground-types with what moves they had, but there were only four of them. Quite a few were going to get away. A couple of Sanshrews and Drilburs nearby were trapping those four ancient Pokémon that had come running by them earlier. Would Amelia and Dawkin do anything?
