When geneticists first discovered the growing mutation that gave people of a certain age super powers. There was panic, concern that this could lead into chaos, or a dawn of some strange new age for mankind. Unbelievably all these years later, things seemingly just turned out the same. People now walk the streets powered or not as if life never changed. Those who wanted to use their powers for good turned to police, firefighting, or medical fields. Otherwise aside from some outsiders who resented those with superpowers. Life just went on, supers and normals walking side by side. Things didn’t change completely though, if you knew where to look. The newfound supers brought the biggest changes into the world of sports, both amature and professional alike. While long standing sports leagues and teams for those normal still remain and are popular. Super based sporting events have become very big and exciting business. The matches became harder, faster, and more nuanced than ever before. The sports had to change and evolve for these newfound super athletes. Even the Olympics on down to colleges and high schools on down adapted the new fields, rules, and equipment. For students at Sakuragawa High School though, it's the beginning of a new year. With the year ahead, and a new season ahead. While the normal football club is currently on its third straight nationals victory. The super football club has been ‘lovingly’ referred to other teams as the ‘Super Losers’. It's not without a lack of effort on their part. But things just haven't worked out, especially in comparison to the other school's and their much more developed super football squads. In fact, word around campus at the start of the school year is that if the super football team doesn't perform this year. Chances are faculty will close the club down for cost cutting measures. With their backs to the wall, the super football club at Sakuragawa has one more chance to prove themselves. However a new influx of first year players, as well as a possible secret weapon, might finally give them the fighting chance the needed. He does perform well in classes, although it does feel like he’s really coasting and not really putting in 100 percent. Shiro only really shines on the pitch and on stage. Still, people question his heart as a footballer since Shiro’s main ability is in juggles and getting past defenders. Looking as though he takes more joy in looking impressive than actually winning. For Shiro though he sees it as an art, and really believes to shine he needs that perfect partner to help set up goals with. Outside of classes Shiro is a total foodie, and will happily scarf down on a delicious meal when he gets the chance. Extra: Up until Shiro no one in his family has had super powers. He has an older brother who attending culinary school in Tokyo, and a younger sister who’s going to elementary at the moment. [/hider]
