Well, perhaps not enjoyable, but when all you could focus on was the fire in your lungs, the ache in your muscles, and the sting of sweat in the corners of your eyes, the troubles of the world seemed to melt away, just old cardboard in the rain. Now it was over, and sure enough, that familiar ennui settled, like leaves in a gutter. His breathing was ragged, much like everyone else’s. Will sat with his legs bent in front of him, forearms rested across his knees. Sweat soaked his hair and brow. A thin rivulet tickled the left side of his face, making its way to his chin before dripping off. Stretching would help ease the aches in the long term, but everything felt too sore and tired for that right now. Seeing Sara’s impersonation had been worth it though, totally worth it. Only Rahne’s name eluded him in present company; he was truly awful with remembering them, but even so, he knew it began with an "R". Still not entirely comfortable, especially not with that certain unease creeping back into his mind, Will would stare at his heels, waiting for anyone else to talk.
