Atlantic Spotted Dolphin

Mika was brought to Haven two years ago as a calf when her and her mother were attacked by a pod of bottlenose dolphins, an attack which left Mika separated from her mother and seriously injured, missing a huge chunk of her dorsal fin. The team managed to nurse her back to health, and now that she's old enough to survive on her own, are trying to encourage here to find a new pod. Unfortunately, she is pretty stubborn, and has taken a liking to the humans who have been looking after her for the past couple of years.

Found near a popular beach. Severely underweight due to being separated from his mother. Mother assumed dead. Still being bottle fed. Assumed twin of Copper as they were found together[/hider]

Was caught in a net by fishermen. Fishing line had wrapped so tightly around her body it was cutting into her stomach. The fishing line had been there for so long the skin had started to heal over it[/hider]
